Musical instrument pickup and musical instrument
A musical instrument pickup includes a vibrating body that is disposed facing a plurality of sound sources and excited in response to sounds from the sound sources, and a sensor that detects vibration of the vibrating body.
STRINGED-INSTRUMENT AMPLIFICATION
The disclosure seeks to describe a system and method for transmitting acoustic energy to a listener. The system includes a flexible pick-up, at least one acoustic energy transmisson member and at least one audio output. The flexible pick-up has an interior, at least one opening, and is configured for compression against strings of a stringed instrument for direct energizing by the strings. The at least one acoustic energy transmission member has a first end coupled to the interior of the pick-up through the opening. The at least one audio output is mounted on a second end of the energy transmission member and is configured to transmit acoustic energy therefrom to a listener.
Electronic cymbal assembly and components thereof
Electronic cymbal assemblies are disclosed. Assemblies according to the disclosure can include a single frame and a cover thereon, the cover including a cutout with flat edges to prevent accidental rotation of cymbal assembly components. Assemblies according to the present disclosure can also include non-planar sensors that can be applied to the bell and edge portions of a frame, sensors and frames with respective protrusions and bumps to mate with one another, and cover undersides with non-smooth surfaces to increase sensitivity to user actuation.
STRINGED INSTRUMENT PICKUP AND FEEDBACK SYSTEM
A stringed instrument pickup and feedback system, comprising a sound pickup device disposed on a string instrument. The sound pickup device comprises a transducer and at least one pickup, a sound processing circuit and a power supply. The pickup activates the transducer to realize resonance enhancement on the instrument body. The transducer is disposed on the string instrument unrestricted by internal bracing. The instrument can be any of pickup, guitar, ukulele, violin, Guqin, Guzheng and Mandolin. The present invention enables the construction of stringed instrument to add vibration and amplify sound of a stringed instrument using the transducer and thus reduce the dependence on rare woods in manufacturing these instruments.
Acoustic apparatus
The present invention provides an acoustic apparatus which can be attached to the musical instrument without adding processing to reproduce. After the acoustic apparatus is detached, the user can enjoy playing the musical instrument itself same as before the acoustic apparatus is attached. An acoustic apparatus 1 has a vibration generator 2, a support body 3, a locking portion 4 and a drive circuit 5. The acoustic apparatus 1 is locked to a neck holder 301 of a stand 300, and a diaphragm 201 of the vibration generator 2 is arranged to face a sound hole 109 of a guitar 100. The drive circuit 5 drives the vibration generator 2 according to the inputted sound signal to resonate a sound box 103. Thus, rich sound can be reproduced.
KEYBOARD DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
The disclosure provides a keyboard device and an electronic musical instrument. The keyboard device includes: a plurality of keys 60 arranged in a left-right direction (scale direction); a base member 50 supporting the keys 60; a vibration transmission member 70 being in contact with the base member 50 across an arrangement region of the keys 60 in the left-right direction; and a vibrator 72 fixed to the vibration transmission member 70 and vibrating based on pressing of the key 60. Therefore, the vibration of the vibrator 72 is transmitted to each of the keys 60 (base member 50) arranged on the left and right via the vibration transmission member 70. As the vibration transmission member 70 has higher rigidity than the base member 50 made of resin, the vibration of the vibrator 72 is easily transmitted in the left-right direction through the vibration transmission member 70.
ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT AND MUSICAL SOUND GENERATION PROCESSING METHOD OF ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT
An keytar (1) includes a keyboard (2) on which a plurality of keys (2a) are arranged, a ribbon (5) in which a front surface panel (81) is arranged, and the degree of the same type of musical sound effect applied to each of tones (A-D) produced by the key (2a) is changed corresponding to detection positions in an X-direction in the front surface panel (81). Accordingly, because the degrees of the musical sound effects can be respectively changed for each of the tones (A-D) corresponding to the detection positions in the X-direction of the front surface panel (81), for the change of the same type of musical sound effect toward the tones (A-D), the monotony of this change can be suppressed and an expressive performance can be achieved.
ACOUSTIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENT ENHANCED WITH FEEDBACK AND INJECTION ACTUATORS
Processing implemented by computer means of sound data output by at least one sensor and activation of at least one actuator of an acoustically radiating structure. The sensor senses an acoustic signal output by the vibration of the radiating structure. The radiating structure bears at least one actuator controlled by the computer means and is thus involved in the vibration of the radiating structure. In particular, the method comprises the steps of: a) measuring a transfer function of the actuator, radiating structure and sensor assembly, b) controlling activation of the actuator so as to make the radiating structure vibrate, according to a selected setpoint: taking account of the transfer function measured, and taking account of the acoustic signal sensed by the sensor in feedback mode.
Sound Regulation Apparatus, Method or Program
[Technical problem] Circulatory sound regulation that changes environmental sound into input sound, converted sound with arbitrarily regulatory frequency component, arbitrarily regulatory amplitude or both of them, output sound, another input sound synthesized with this output sound and an environmental sound, and another converted sound made from this input sound. [Solution] Apparatus comprising: input means that receives environmental sound from arbitrary environment as an input sound; conversion means that converts the input sound into a converted sound that contains arbitrarily regulatory frequency component including frequency component that approximates to principle oscillator, arbitrarily regulatory amplitude or both; and output means that transmits the converted sound to environment as an output sound; whereby the input means receives synthetic sound synthesized with the output sound and environmental sound as an input sound again, and the conversion means converts this input sound further into another converted sound.
MOTORIZED INSTRUMENT STRUMMER
A hand-held strumming device includes a hollow body, a power source, a motor, a regulator, and a strummer. The power source is disposed in the hollow body. The motor is in electrical communication with the power source. The regulator is in electrical communication with both the motor and the power source. The regulator is configured to selectively adjust a rotational speed of the motor. The strummer is rotatably disposed on the disk. The strummer is configured to be presented to strings of a stringed instrument upon rotation of the motor to strum the strings.
