HANDHELD ELECTRONIC MUSICAL PERCUSSION INSTRUMENT
20180247630 · 2018-08-30 · ·

An apparatus, system, and method for an electronic handheld musical instrument that generates electronic signals for processing by a processor-based module to generate musical sounds adapted to replicate non-electronic traditional hand percussion and other handheld instruments, is provided. A piezoelectric-based trigger is secured in an enclosed volume or enclosure formed in the electronic handheld musical instrument. When manipulated by a musician in a normal fashion, freely moving beads float or travel within the enclosure of the electronic handheld musical instrument and strike against a sensitive face of the piezoelectric transducer device to create a desired sound effect.

PERCUSSION DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR STRINGED INSTRUMENT
20180240444 · 2018-08-23 · ·

The invention is directed to a percussion system to be attached to a stringed instrument in a way that allows a player to drum the percussion system while plucking the strings of the stringed instrument using a single hand. The percussion system includes a percussion device including: a body and at least one static percussion surface located over the body, the percussion surface having a batter side. The percussion system further includes a connecting element for connecting the percussion device to a stringed instrument such that when the percussion system is connected to the stringed instrument the percussion surface is substantially perpendicular to the stringed instrument's front side and is directed towards strings of the stringed instrument.

A first ferromagnetic piece of metal is attached to the inside surface of a stringed musical instrument such as an acoustic guitar, allowing an external magnetic mount to be attached to the musical instrument through the magnetic force of the magnetic mounts magnet on the first ferromagnetic piece of metal. One or more electronic device equipped with one or more ferromagnetic elements trapped, sandwiched, mounted on or made part of the device and/or a device protective case may then be softly, removably and firmly mounted to the outer surface of the instrument without chemically adhering to or disturbing the outer surface of the instrument through magnetic attachment to the magnetic mount. The inner-mounted ferromagnetic element may be attached permanently or removably to the inner surface of the instrument, so that the external magnetic mount may have its position adjusted for optimizing the position of the externally mounted device.

A foldable guitar has a guitar body. The guitar body includes a main body and a rotating bar fixed to the main body. The rotating bar has a top end and a bottom end. Each of the top end and the bottom end is pivoted to the main body. A shape of the rotating bar matches a profile shape of the main body, and the rotating bar is foldable, such that a size of the guitar body is reduced when the rotating bar is folded toward the main body.

Music and audio playback system

A music and audio playback system is implemented on a computer with a playback engine that enables the operator to apply a variety of effects. The system may store one or more snapshots, or a combination of settings for a plurality of controls that are applied by the playback engine. These snapshots allow for changes to settings for effects, mixing and playback to be made quickly, some of which would normally be difficult to perform. A sampler module permits a user to specify one or more samples that may be triggered for playback. The most frequently used samples may be designated as scratching files that may be quickly activated through the push of a button (or other control). Additionally, a waveform display represents a window of audio samples around a current playback time.

Provided is a sound source module capable of inclining and capable of being easily attached and detached by a simple structure.

A sound source module 10 includes engaging portions 40 and 48 provided spaced from each other on both ends of an edge portion 14 in a longitudinal direction. A keyboard module 50 is removably engaged by the engaging portions 40 and 48. Thus, the sound source module 10 can be easily attached to and detached from the keyboard module 50. The engaging portions 40 and 48 are located on the same straight line. Thus, by a front portion 11 being supported in an inclined state relative to the keyboard module 50 with the engaging portions 40 and 48 as an axis, the sound source module 10 can be inclined relative to the keyboard module 50.
