A technique determination device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an input sound acquisition unit acquiring an input sound,

a pitch detection unit detecting a pitch on a time-series basis based on the input sound, a sound-volume detection unit detecting a sound volume on the time series basis based on the input sound, a first starting-point detection unit determining whether variation of the sound volume is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold for each predetermined period and detecting a starting point of a period in which the variation of the sound volume is equal to or larger than the threshold as a first starting point, and a technique determination unit determining a technique of the input sound based on a change of the sound volume after the first starting point and variation of the pitch after the first starting point.

FILTER CHARACTERISTICS CHANGING DEVICE
20180268793 · 2018-09-20 · ·

When an instruction is provided for changing a characteristic of a set filter which includes a plurality of partial filters and forms a specified characteristic by combining a plurality of partial filters, a processor performs, as crossfading processing for a first filter and a second filter among the plurality of partial filters, fade-out processing of gradually decreasing a degree of contribution of the first filter to the characteristic and fade-in processing of gradually increasing a degree of contribution of the second filter to the characteristic. As a result, unnaturalness occurring at the time of changing filter characteristics is solved.

AUDIO FILE RE-RECORDING METHOD, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Provided are an audio file re-recording method and device, and a storage medium. The method includes: determining first time, the first time being start time of a recorded clip to be re-recorded in an audio file; playing a first recorded clip that has been recorded, the first recorded clip using the first time as end time in the audio file; upon arrival of the first time, collecting first voice data of a user to obtain a second recorded clip; and processing the first recorded clip and the second recorded clip to obtain a re-recorded audio file.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIA FOR ENABLING FLEXIBLE SOUND GENERATION/MODIFYING UTILITIES
20180225083 · 2018-08-09 ·

Systems and methods for enabling the generating and modifying of sound elements is provided. A sound engine includes or is linked to one or more sound modification interfaces that enable one or more users to access a digital waveform generator/modifier utility (digital audio generator, digital envelope generator), so as to graphically map aspects of that audio waveform's generation, by tracing one or more Bezier paths defined that can be processed by the sound engine, so as to define or modify aspects of the waveform, such as its frequency, pitch and amplitude envelopes, harmonic structure, the timing or pitch of component waveform elements, or directly upon the waveform. The sound engine enables user manipulation of the Bezier paths, including touch input modification of the paths (e.g. dragging, forming etc.) that define or modify fundamental qualities of the corresponding waveform.

Interactive, expressive music accompaniment system

Systems and methods capable of providing adaptive and responsive accompaniment to music with fixed chord progressions, such as jazz and pop, are provided. A system can include one or more sound-capturing devices, a signal analyzer to analyze captured sound signals, and an electronic sound-producing component that produces electronic sounds as an accompaniment.

DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD AND EDITING APPARATUS FOR VOICE SYNTHESIS
20180166064 · 2018-06-14 ·

A display control method executed by a processor, the method includes the steps of: displaying, on a display device, a note icon that represents a note of a voice to be synthesized and an indicator that is moved in accordance with an operation received from a user; displaying, on the display device, first options that belong to a first layer among layers in a hierarchical structure, for the user to select a singing expression to be applied to the note from among a plurality of singing expressions; and displaying, on the display device, when the indicator is moved into an area corresponding to a particular option selected from among the first options, second options that correspond to the particular option and belong to a second layer that is below the first layer in the hierarchical structure.

Methods, Devices and Computer Program Products for Interactive Musical Improvisation Guidance
20180144732 · 2018-05-24 · ·

A method and a device provides a user with the ability to freely improvise or play around with a selection of different chords and be provided with visual guidance assisting the improvisation of melody, while also providing accompaniment consistent with the selection of chords. Sound files consistent with a user selection of a chord and/or a dynamic level are selected from an audio library and played, while the user is given visual cues on a user interface keyboard assisting the user to select notes that are consistent with the chord selected for the accompaniment.
