Information processing device and control method
An information processing device includes a signal acquisition unit that acquires a voice signal of an object person outputted from a mic array and a control unit that acquires at least one of noise level information indicating a noise level of noise and first information as information indicating whether or not an obstructor is speaking while obstructing speech of the object person and changes a beam width as a width of a beam corresponding to an angular range of acquired sound, centering at the beam representing a direction in which voice of the object person is inputted to the mic array, and dead zone formation intensity as a degree of suppressing at least one of the noise and voice of the obstructor inputted to the mic array based on at least one of the noise level information and the first information.
ACOUSTIC IMAGING SYSTEMS HAVING SOUND FORMING LENSES AND SOUND AMPLITUDE DETECTORS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Acoustic imaging systems having sound forming lenses and sound amplitude detectors and associated methods are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, an acoustic imaging system includes a sound forming lens configured to focus sound waves received from a plurality of directions onto respective predetermined areas. The acoustic imaging system also includes sound amplitude detectors positioned to receive the focused sound waves at the predetermined areas and to output signals indicative of the directions of receipt of the sound waves by the sound forming lens.
Noise-reduction system for UAVs
An apparatus and method for reducing background noise captured by a UAV acoustic sensor are disclosed. The background noise may be reduced by incorporating a known UAV acoustic signature corresponding to a determined flight parameter into an adaptive filter coupled to the acoustic sensor.
Systems and methods for acoustic radiation control
Disclosed is a system for controlling acoustic radiation from an aircraft. The system comprising a plurality of rotor systems (one or more) and a noise controller configured to regulate acoustic radiation from the plurality of rotor systems. The noise controller can be configured to regulate a commanded flight setting from the flight control system and to output a regulated flight setting to the plurality of rotor systems. Based on the regulated flight setting, the plurality of rotor systems are configured to generate, individually and in aggregate, acoustic radiation having a target acoustic behavior. The target acoustic behavior may be achieved using beamforming techniques to, for example, change the directionality of acoustic radiation from the plurality of rotor systems, or otherwise tune the acoustic radiation to reduce detectability and/or annoyance.
VOICE CONTROL USER INTERFACE WITH PROGRESSIVE COMMAND ENGAGEMENT
A method include placing a first processor in a sleep operating mode and running a second processor that is operative to wake the first processor from the sleep operating mode in response to a speech command phrase. The method includes identifying, by the second processor, a speech command phrase segment and performing a control operation in response to detecting the segment in detected speech. The control operation is performed while the first processor is maintained in the sleep operating mode.
Drone noise cancellation using sound beams
A drone includes a motor, a noise receiver, a camera, a distance measurer, and a directed sound beam generator. The noise receiver is configured to detect a noise caused by the motor. The camera is configured to capture an image of an area when the drone is in the air. The distance measurer is configured to measure a distance between the drone and a particular point in the captured image. The directed sound beam generator is configured to emit a sound beam that is directed to a particular direction. The drone further includes a processor configured to analyze the detected noise to determine a frequency spectrum of the detected noise. The processor is further configured to analyze the captured image to identify a target, and cause the directed sound beam generator to emit a sound beam to actively cancel at least a portion of the noise directed to the target.
Voice control user interface with multiple voice processing modules
A method include placing a first processor in a sleep operating mode and running a second processor that is operative to wake the first processor from the sleep operating mode in response to a speech command phrase. The method includes identifying, by the second processor, a speech command phrase segment and performing a control operation in response to detecting the segment in detected speech. The control operation is performed while the first processor is maintained in the sleep operating mode.
System and method of wind and noise reduction for a headphone
Method of wind and noise reduction for headphones starts by receiving acoustic signals from first external microphone included on the outside of earcup's housing. Acoustic signals are received from internal microphone included inside earcup's housing. ANC downlink corrector processes downlink signal to generate echo estimate of speaker signal. First summator removes echo estimate of speaker signal from acoustic signals from internal microphone to generate corrected internal microphone signal. Spectral combiner performs spectral mixing of corrected internal microphone signal with acoustic signals from first external microphone to generate mixed signal. Lower frequency portion of mixed signal includes corresponding lower frequency portion of corrected internal microphone signal, and higher frequency portion of mixed signal includes corresponding higher frequency portion of acoustic signals from first external microphone. Other embodiments are also described.
SONAR TRANSDUCER HAVING ELECTROMAGNETIC SHIELDING
A sonar transducer assembly is provided including a transducer configured to transmit one or more sonar beams into an underwater environment, a housing that holds the transducer, at least one electrical cable that enables electrical signals to be transmitted between the transducer and a computing device, and a conductive enclosure disposed around at least a portion of the transducer and electrically connected to a ground line of the electrical cable to create a shielded volume. The conductive enclosure reduces an electromagnetic field within the shielded volume.
Recording Method, Recording Play Method, Apparatuses, and Terminals
A recording method, a recording play method, apparatuses and terminals, where the recording method comprises obtaining, by a terminal, recording data in all sound source directions input by at least three microphones, and generating, by the terminal, a recording file according to the obtained recording data, wherein the recording file saves the recording data in all the sound source directions.
