Remote automated assistant component(s) generate client device notification(s) based on a received IoT state change notification that indicates a change in at least one state associated with at least one IoT device. The generated client device notification(s) can each indicate the change in state associated with the at least one IoT device, and can optionally indicate the at least one IoT device. Further, the remote automated assistant component(s) can identify candidate assistant client devices that are associated with the at least one IoT device, and determine whether each of the one or more of the candidate assistant client device(s) should render a corresponding client device notification. The remote automated assistant component(s) can then transmit a corresponding command to each of the assistant client device(s) it determines should render a corresponding client device notification, where each transmitted command causes the corresponding assistant client device to render the corresponding client device notification.

VOICE ASSISTANT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING VOICE ACTIVATED MACHINE TRANSLATION

A method for performing a query based on a natural language voice input is provided. The method includes receiving, via a microphone, a voice input of a user, and converting the voice input into a first text data object. The method further includes converting the first text data object into a first technical language object using AI, and submitting a query based on the first technical language object. A query result in a second technical language object is retrieved in response to the query, and the query result is converted into a second text data object using AI. The method further converts the second text object into a voice data object indicating the query result, and outputs a voice signal to provide the information of the query result in a natural language form to the user.

VOICE ASSISTANT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING VOICE ACTIVATED MACHINE TRANSLATION

A method for performing a query based on a natural language voice input is provided. The method includes receiving, via a microphone, a voice input of a user, and converting the voice input into a first text data object. The method further includes converting the first text data object into a first technical language object using AI, and submitting a query based on the first technical language object. A query result in a second technical language object is retrieved in response to the query, and the query result is converted into a second text data object using AI. The method further converts the second text object into a voice data object indicating the query result, and outputs a voice signal to provide the information of the query result in a natural language form to the user.

Electronic device and control method thereof

Disclosed is an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a microphone comprising circuitry; a speaker comprising circuitry; and a processor electrically connected to the microphone and speaker, wherein the processor, when a first user's voice is input through the microphone, identifies a user who uttered the first user's voice and provides a first response sound, which is obtained by inputting the first user's voice to an artificial intelligence model learned through an artificial intelligence algorithm, through the speaker, and when a second user's voice is input through the microphone, identifies a user who uttered the second user's voice, and if the user who uttered the first user's voice is the same as the user who uttered the second user's voice, provides a second response sound, which is obtained by inputting the second user's voice and utterance history information to the artificial intelligence model, through the speaker. In particular, at least some of the methods of providing a response sound to a user's voice may use an artificial intelligence model learned in accordance with at least one of a machine learning, neural network, or deep learning algorithm.
