Method, apparatus, and terminal for providing sign language video reflecting appearance of conversation partner

Disclosed is a method of providing a sign language video reflecting an appearance of a conversation partner. The method includes recognizing a speech language sentence from speech information, and recognizing an appearance image and a background image from video information. The method further comprises acquiring multiple pieces of word-joint information corresponding to the speech language sentence from joint information database, sequentially inputting the word-joint information to a deep learning neural network to generate sentence-joint information, generating a motion model on the basis of the sentence-joint information, and generating a sign language video in which the background image and the appearance image are synthesized with the motion model. The method provides a natural communication environment between a sign language user and a speech language user.

Speech signal cascade processing method, terminal, and computer-readable storage medium

A method for improving speech signal intelligibility is performed at a device. A speech signal is obtained. A correspondence between the speech signal and a respective user group among different user groups having distinct voice characteristics is identified. Pre-encoding signal augmentation is performed on the speech signal with a respective pre-augmentation filtering coefficient that corresponds to the respective user group to obtain a group-specific pre-augmented speech signal. The device encodes the pre-augmented speech signal for subsequent transmission through the voice communication channel. An encoded version of the pre-augmented speech signal has reduced loss of signal quality as compared to an encoded version of the speech signal that is obtained without the pre-encoding signal augmentation.

GENERATING TONALLY COMPATIBLE, SYNCHRONIZED NEURAL BEATS FOR DIGITAL AUDIO FILES
20230128812 · 2023-04-27 · ·

Methods and systems for improved neural beat generation for digital audio files are provided. In one embodiment the method is provided that includes receiving a digital audio file and a beat frequency for a neural beat. Chromagram features may be extracted from the digital audio file and may be used to identify dominant pitch classes at a plurality of timestamps within the digital audio file. A plurality of carrier frequencies at different time periods within the digital audio file may be selected based on the dominant pitch classes. A neural beat may be synthesized for the digital audio file based on the beat frequency in the plurality of carrier frequencies. The neural beat may be stored and/or may be combined with the digital audio file to generate a combined audio track, which may be stored.

Feedback controller for data transmissions

Speech endpointing based on word comparisons

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for speech endpointing based on word comparisons are described. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of obtaining a transcription of an utterance. The actions further include determining, as a first value, a quantity of text samples in a collection of text samples that (i) include terms that match the transcription, and (ii) do not include any additional terms. The actions further include determining, as a second value, a quantity of text samples in the collection of text samples that (i) include terms that match the transcription, and (ii) include one or more additional terms. The actions further include classifying the utterance as a likely incomplete utterance or not a likely incomplete utterance based at least on comparing the first value and the second value.

Extracting content from speech prosody

A prosodic speech recognition engine configured to identify prosodic features and patterns in a speech continuum for the extraction of linguistic content including para-syntactic content, discourse function, information structure, meaning, and speaker sentiment.

Method, system, and device for performing real-time sentiment modulation in conversation systems
11636850 · 2023-04-25 · ·

A method and system for performing real-time sentiment modulation in conversation systems is disclosed. The method includes generating an impact table comprising a plurality of sentiment vectors and a plurality of emotion vectors associated with the plurality of sentences. The method further includes generating for each of the plurality of sentences, a dependency vector based on the associated sentiment vector and the associated emotion vector. The method further includes stacking the dependency vector generated to generate a waveform representing variance in sentiment and emotions across words within the plurality of sentences. The method further includes altering at least one portion of the waveform based on a desired emotional output to generate a reshaped waveform. The method further includes generating a set of rephrased sentences associated with the at least one portion, based on the reshaped waveform, the set of sentences, a user defined sentiment output.
