A multi-phase cosmetic composition mixing pack for mixing immiscible components of a multi-phase cosmetic composition such that they are temporarily miscible includes a container for holding the multi-phase cosmetic composition that has a first open end. The mixing pack further includes a mixing assembly disposed within the container for mixing immiscible components of the multi-phase cosmetic composition such that they are temporarily miscible, and an actuator assembly for actuating the mixing assembly. The actuator assembly comprises a stem receivable within the first open end of the container. The stem includes a cam surface extending along at least a portion of a length of the stem, and a cam follower surface defined on the mixing assembly, wherein linear reciprocating motion of the stem causes rotation of the mixing assembly.

Provided is a packaging for a fluid product, in particular a cosmetic or a skin care product. The packaging may include a receptacle defining a containment volume of the cosmetic product and an opening into the containment volume. The packaging may further include a lid configured to engage with the receptacle and close the opening. Further, the packaging may also include an applicator configured to withdraw the cosmetic product from the containment volume. The packaging may additionally include a containment and release body arranged in the containment volume and saturated with the cosmetic product so that, when deformed by the applicator, it releases the cosmetic product on the applicator.

A single-handed extendable cosmetic applicator having an applicator body with a first, second, and third body shell portion and a selectively removable cover disposed at a second end of the applicator body that is operably configured to dispose an opening. The applicator body encapsulates a cosmetic applicator stem with an applicator surface. When the applicator is desired to be used, the user may rotate the second body shell portion with respect to the first body shell portion to cause the applicator surface to extend and retract through the opening with a single hand of a user. In some embodiments, the third shell portion may be selectively removable and include different cosmetic products for desired use by the user.

Implementations described herein provide an apparatus and a method for applying mascara with a mascara applicator assembly. The mascara applicator assembly has a body. The body has an inner volume configured to accept mascara product. A stem is coupled to the body. The stem has a passage and one or more apertures. The one or more apertures extend through the stem and into the passage. A brush is disposed on a distal end of the stem and has a dispensing region and an application region. The dispensing region has bristle fibers arranged in an orientation different than the bristle fibers disposed in the application region.

The purpose of this invention is to provide economical conservation. It falls into the beauty and cosmetic industry. The G.I.A Stick is a functional stick mechanism that comes in various sizes. It can be prepackaged and sold individually in order to consume the product (make-up, nail polish, lipstick, lip-gloss, mascara, foundation, etc. . . . ) in its entirety. It can also be a part of the original packaging of pre-existing cosmetic lines; upon contractual consent.

The top of the GIA Stick will have the option of a press down button or twist cap in order to extend the stick for length. Once the G.I.A Stick is inside of a container, utilize the press down button or twist cap in order to extend the G.I.A Stick. It will then extend to the bottom of the container. This will allow the consumer to reach and use the content at the bottom of the container.

A cosmetic applicator 1 includes a substantially flat application member 3 extending from a tip of a rod-like support member 2 at an angle θ.sub.1 of 0 to 45 degrees with respect to an axial center of the support member, wherein the application member 3 is formed in a spiral shape in a direction in which the application member 3 extends, and a flat surface of a front end portion of the application member 3 is at an angle θ.sub.2 of 10 to 120 degrees with respect to a flat surface of a rear end portion of the application member.

A cosmetic applicator capable of being extended and retracted may comprise a shaft having a twofold structure in which there are an outer cylinder having an inner surface on which a projection is provided and an inner cylinder having an outer surface on which a guide groove that guidingly engages with the projection is provided. The guide groove may have two transverse grooves that extend in a circumferential direction and a second longitudinal groove that extends in an axial direction connecting the two transverse grooves. The guide groove may also have a first longitudinal groove that is provided at a location different in the circumferential direction from that of the second longitudinal groove and that extends in an axial direction, from that transverse groove which of the two transverse grooves is nearer a tip having an applying portion, to the tip, for easy removable attachment of the outer cylinder.

Disclosed herein is an apparatus including two containers assembled together in a sleeve, where the first container includes a cosmetic agent, such a nail whitening agent, and the second container includes an antifungal active pharmaceutical ingredient. Also disclosed herein are methods for assembling an apparatus for treatment of nail fungus and a method of treating nail and/or skin fungus.
