Cosmetic formula applicators having formula control are provided to aid in the application of a cosmetic formula to a user. In general, examples of the applicators described herein generally include a stem with a structured tip portion having a closed partition and an open partition that forms a leg segment, where the structured tip portion is configured to retain an amount of cosmetic formula for application to a user. In another aspect, the perimeter of the stem may be configured such that the elongate stem has a particular surface area depending on the cosmetic formula composition to control the dosage size. In a further aspect, the structured tip portion represents an enterprise-specific symbol.

This relates to a cosmetic product applicator comprising, along the same longitudinal axis, a mascara portion and an applicator portion, the mascara portion comprising a longitudinal sleeve along a longitudinal axis and an applicator end piece at a distal end of the sleeve, the applicator portion comprising a longitudinal rod and an applicator end at a distal end of the rod, the sleeve being dimensioned so as to be able to accommodate the longitudinal rod at least in part, the mascara portion and the applicator portion being able to be joined together and detached from one another, characterised in that the applicator end piece comprises a housing which is dimensioned so as to allow the applicator end to pass therethrough at least in part when the mascara portion is joined to the applicator portion.

Provided is a packaging for a fluid product, in particular a cosmetic or a skin care product. The packaging may include a receptacle defining a containment volume of the cosmetic product and an opening into the containment volume. The packaging may further include a lid configured to engage with the receptacle and close the opening. Further, the packaging may also include an applicator configured to withdraw the cosmetic product from the containment volume. The packaging may additionally include a containment and release body arranged in the containment volume and saturated with the cosmetic product so that, when deformed by the applicator, it releases the cosmetic product on the applicator.

A single-handed extendable cosmetic applicator having an applicator body with a first, second, and third body shell portion and a selectively removable cover disposed at a second end of the applicator body that is operably configured to dispose an opening. The applicator body encapsulates a cosmetic applicator stem with an applicator surface. When the applicator is desired to be used, the user may rotate the second body shell portion with respect to the first body shell portion to cause the applicator surface to extend and retract through the opening with a single hand of a user. In some embodiments, the third shell portion may be selectively removable and include different cosmetic products for desired use by the user.
