The refill barrel includes a latching mechanism for releasably coupling the refill barrel to the reusable product dispenser.

The guide includes a tubular body with an upper exit opening of the stick and a lower insertion opening for the cup. The cup is mounted to slide axially. The guide includes an axial slot extending upward from the bottom, traversed by the cup's lug. The axial slot is open at the level of the upper opening. The tubular body is rotatably mounted within the tubular sheath. The sheath includes an internal helical groove that receives the lug. Rotation of the guide relative to the sheath causes an axial movement of the cup between extreme extended and retracted positions. The helical groove is open at the upper end-of-stroke.
