Direction indicators for panoramic images
Devices, systems and methods are disclosed for improving a display of panoramic video data by including a first angle indicator, as a visual representation of a direction of a displayed portion of the panoramic video data relative to a reference location, along with a second angle indicator indicating an object of interest. The second angle indicator may display a fixed angle or a recommended angle to improve navigation within the panoramic video data. The fixed angle may be determined by the user or the device and may remain stationary during playback of the panoramic video data, allowing the user to switch between directional views without panning. The recommended angle may be determined based on a location of a tracked object, allowing the user to display the tracked object without panning. The second angle indicator may be represented by an icon illustrating the object of interest.
METHOD FOR SYNCHRONOUSLY ACCESSING AUDIO DATA AND AUDIO PLAYBACK SYSTEM USING THE SAME
A method for synchronously accessing audio data and an audio playback system using the same are provided. The method comprises: providing a first device and a second device; providing an audio common memory in the second device; transmitting an audio data from the first device to the second device when the second device performs an audio playback; writing the audio common memory by the first device and reading the audio common memory by the second device when the first device transmits the audio data to the second device; and performing an interpolation operation by the second device when a difference between a read address value of the second device and a write address value of the first device is different from a predetermined difference.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING, ARCHIVING AND CONTROLLING CONTENT IN A PERFORMANCE VENUE
A system for auditing performance data in commercial venues having one or more computing devices located in venues where live or pre-recorded music is performed. The computing devices capture and store content in each venue using at least one audio input configured for professional audio performances. The computing devices store the content as a content data record with associated identifiers for date, time, and venue location. The content data records are transferred from each venue to a central server. Encryption keys encrypt the content data records from each venue to verify the authenticity of the content transmitted from the venues to the server. The server includes a processor for opening, reviewing, and separating the content data records from each venue into distinct files, each file comprising an individual work performed in the venue. The system further includes an interface for providing access to the archived content data records at the server.
Script-based multimedia presentation
Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a method, computer program product, and system to seamlessly integrate a multimedia presentation with triggered content provided using one or more external devices. The method includes processing a presentation script that specifies (i) one or more accessible audiovisual content items and (ii) a sequence of the audiovisual content items for presentation during the multimedia presentation. The method also includes transmitting the one or more audiovisual content items to one or more audiovisual output devices according to the sequence, and transmitting control signals to the one or more external devices to operate the external devices according to timing information included in the presentation script and with reference to at least one of the audiovisual content items, thereby seamlessly integrating content provided using the external devices with the multimedia presentation.
SELECTION OF AN AUDIO STREAM OF A VIDEO FOR ENHANCEMENT USING IMAGES OF THE VIDEO
An audio stream of a video is selected for enhancement using image of the video. In one example, audio streams in the video are identified and segregated. Points of interest and their locations are identified in the image of the video. The position of each audio stream is plotted to a location of a point of interest. A selection of a point of interest from the sequence of images is received. A plotted audio stream is selected based on the corresponding point of interest and the selected audio stream is enhanced.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZING CONTENT CREATION ON A MOBILE PLATFORM USING MOBILE MULTI-TRACK TIMELINE-OPTIMIZED EDITING AND VIEWER INTEREST CONTENT FOR VIDEO
An embedded editing system allows mobile video capture, editing, and sharing/publishing. The systems and methods disclosed herein may facilitate mobile multi-track timeline-based video editing. The systems and methods disclosed herein may allow for easy creation of picture-in-picture videos and/or other forms of video and/or other forms of creative or expressive content, particularly content captured from mobile devices. Feedback interactions captured at a viewer device may be used as the basis of viewer interest content provided to a user capturing and publishing video content and/or to third parties. The feedback interactions may visually represent content-level feedback against interactive portions of video content.
Generating video summaries for a video using video summary templates
Video and corresponding metadata is accessed. Events of interest within the video are identified based on the corresponding metadata, and best scenes are identified based on the identified events of interest. A video summary can be generated including one or more of the identified best scenes. The video summary can be generated using a video summary template with slots corresponding to video clips selected from among sets of candidate video clips. Best scenes can also be identified by receiving an indication of an event of interest within video from a user during the capture of the video. Metadata patterns representing activities identified within video clips can be identified within other videos, which can subsequently be associated with the identified activities.
Multimedia signal processing system
A multimedia signal processing system utilizes an easily manipulated, low-cost storage and display system that allows the user to view a television program and instantly review previous scenes within the program. The invention also allows the user to store selected programs while simultaneously watching or reviewing another. A versatile system architecture enables providing the invention in multiple configurations, each adapted to receive input signals from a different source. At the highest level, the system includes an input section and an output section. Across all configurations, the output section remains substantially the same, while the input section varies according to the signal type and the source. Thus, several configurations are provided, each one requiring only minor system board modifications. The system architecture thus simplifies the design and manufacturing challenge presented by producing units to serve different markets, such as digital satellite, digital cable and analog cable.
Generating semantically meaningful video loops in a cinemagraph
A cinemagraph is generated that includes one or more video loops. A cinemagraph generator receives an input video, and semantically segments the frames to identify regions that correspond to semantic objects and the semantic object depicted in each identified region. Input time intervals are then computed for the pixels of the frames of the input video. An input time interval for a particular pixel includes a per-pixel loop period and a per-pixel start time of a loop at the particular pixel. In addition, the input time interval of a pixel is based, in part, on one or more semantic terms which keep pixels associated with the same semantic object in the same video loop. A cinemagraph is then created using the input time intervals computed for the pixels of the frames of the input video.
DIGITAL JUKEBOX DEVICE WITH KARAOKE AND/OR PHOTO BOOTH FEATURES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems and, more particularly, certain exemplary embodiments relate to jukebox systems that incorporate digital downloading jukebox features along with karaoke jukebox and/or photo booth features. A combined karaoke/photo booth/jukebox may enable more integrated performance-like experiences in an in-home or out-of-home location or venue. By leveraging vast audio media libraries, trusted rights-respecting network infrastructure, and on-site image/video capturing from integrated recorders and/or remote portable devices, a more sociable experience may be created for karaoke jukebox patrons, e.g., where custom content can be generated and shared in a safe and legally appropriate manner.
