Event capture and distribution system and method
A system and method are disclosed including at least one camera positioned in view of an area of interest. The system and method further includes a real-time event capture system for capturing and synchronizing various data streams and an event distribution system permitting later review, highlighting and instruction.
INTELLIGENT PRINT RECOGNITION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for interactive printed media are disclosed in which a mobile or wearable computing device has an application that captures an image of a piece of printed media and associates a link to the piece of printed media using a backend component to make the piece of printed media interactive. The system and method may be used to generate a piece of printed media that is interactive that may be sent to third parties or to make an existing piece of printed media interactive.
Multi-sensor event system
A system that analyzes data from multiple sensors, potentially of different types, that track motions of players, equipment, and projectiles such as balls. Data from different sensors is combined to generate integrated metrics for events and activities. Illustrative sensors may include inertial sensors, cameras, radars, and light gates. As an illustrative example, a video camera may track motion of a pitched baseball, and an inertial sensor may track motion of a bat; the system may use the combined data to analyze the effectiveness of the swing in hitting the pitch. The system may also use sensor data to automatically select or generate tags for an event; tags may represent for example activity types, players, performance levels, or scoring results. The system may analyze social media postings to confirm or augment event tags. Users may filter and analyze saved events based on the assigned tags.
ARTICLE OF CLOTHING WITH VIDEO RECORDING DEVICE SUPPORT
A video recording device, holster and article of clothing are disclosed to reliably and covertly provide for the capture of video, audio, and metadata, and perform other commands. The holster may be provided with a carrier that is, in turn, inserted into the holster. In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.

In one embodiment, the holster may be confirmed as being associated with the video recording device to authenticate a user, and establishes a docked position. Moreover, the video recording device may enter a mode of operation associated with using the video recording apparatus automatically when inserted into a holster.
Methods, systems and apparatuses for multi-directional still pictures and/or multi-directional motion pictures
The disclosure is generally directed to methods, systems and apparatuses for multi-directional still pictures and/or multi-directional motion pictures and their applications on mobile, embedded, and other computing devices and applications.
Methods and systems of video processing
Methods and systems are provided for video processing. Video may be captured using an image capture device at a first definition. The image capture device may optionally be, or may be on board, an aerial vehicle, such as an unmanned aerial vehicle. A first set of video data may be transmitted to a user terminal at a second definition, which may be less than the first definition. A user may interact with the user terminal to edit the video and generate a video edit request. The video edit request may be transmitted to the image capture device, which may accordingly produce a second set of video data in accordance with the video edit request, at a third definition. The third definition may be greater than the second definition.
Integrating data from multiple devices
A recording system for an emergency response unit includes a first data collection device configured to record a first video, audio or data segment with an incident identifier and transmit a message including the incident identifier. A second data collection device may receive the message and, as appropriate, record at least a second video, audio or data segment with the incident identifier, allowing the first segment and the second segment to be associated using the incident identifier. In other embodiments, a first recording device may begin recording video, audio or legal evidence data with an incident identifier, and a control system may receive a message including the incident identifier from the first recording device, identify one or more additional recording devices located within a certain distance of the first recording device, and obtain recordings from the one or more additional recording devices.
Image capturing apparatus and method of controlling the same
An image capturing apparatus including an audio input unit and a driving unit attenuates or disables driving sounds of the driving unit and post-driving sounds as appropriate to reduce unnecessary sounds and improve usefulness of audio data, and an image capturing apparatus including an image capturing unit, a panning/tilting unit configured to change an image capturing direction, and an audio input unit attenuates or disables an audio-related function while the panning/tilting unit is driving and until a predetermined determination condition is satisfied after the driving.
Imaging apparatus
There has been a problem that continuous recording of monitoring data may be impeded by inconsistency in setting values, occurring due to changes in settings of an imaging unit or compression encoding unit performed while recording. Provided are a recording source which outputs a stream including compression-encoded video data, instructing means which change a parameter relating to the recording source, according to a command transmitted from an external device connected via a network, and control means which perform control so as to switch whether or not a command by the instructing means as to the recording source correlated with the recording job can be accepted, in accordance with the recording state of the recording job.
