Systems and methods are disclosed relating generally to data processing, and more particularly to applying low pass and rotation filtering in relation to data processing. For example, a system may include a phase modification value determination circuit operable to generate a phase offset value based upon an input data set derived from information sensed from a storage medium. The system may include an integrated low pass and rotation filtering circuit operable to simultaneously apply a low pass filtering function and phase rotation function to a series of digital samples derived from the information sensed from the storage medium to yield a modified output. Application of both the low pass filtering and phase rotation functions is governed at least in part based upon a selected coefficient set corresponding to a combination of the phase off set value and a boost value.

The image recording apparatus according to the present invention is provided with a conversion device that converts an optical image of a subject to an electrical signal, a recording circuit that records the electrical signal achieved through the conversion device in a storage device as image data and a display control circuit that detects an available capacity at the storage device and the length of time that power supply by a source is possible and displays them on a display as available capacity information and remaining power supply time information. The available capacity information indicates the length of available recording time remaining at the available capacity that has been detected.

According to an embodiment, there is provided a failure diagnosis method. The failure diagnosis method includes installing a disk device in a manufacturing rack. The failure diagnosis method acquiring, by the disk device, data on a state of a predetermined constituent unit in the manufacturing rack with the disk device being installed in the manufacturing rack. The failure diagnosis method includes determining, by the disk device, whether or not the state of the predetermined constituent unit falls within an allowable range by using the data acquired.
