A cosmetic item including a reservoir adapted to contain a cosmetic product such as a mascara. A guide tube extends according to a longitudinal direction in the reservoir, and an applicator is mounted in longitudinal translation in the guide tube. The applicator can take on a retracted position and a deployed position with respect to the guide tube. The guide tube has a constant inner cross-section, and the applicator has a constant and identical cross-section, except for a functional clearance. The applicator includes a smooth longitudinal first portion and a second portion including a surface suitable adapted to retain the cosmetic product. The cosmetic item according to the invention is aesthetic and simple to use, it protects the cosmetic product from air and enables an accurate metering of the delivered product.

The present invention provides a cosmetic applicator capable of reliably scooping an appropriate amount of a cosmetic, coming into firm contact with an application area such as a lip, and evenly spreading the cosmetic over the application area. A cosmetic applicator 1 includes a substantially flat application member 3 extending from a tip of a rod-like support member 2 at an angle .sub.1 of 0 to 45 degrees with respect to an axial center of the support member, wherein the application member 3 is formed in a spiral shape in a direction in which the application member 3 extends, and a flat surface of a front end portion of the application member 3 is at an angle .sub.2 of 10 to 120 degrees with respect to a flat surface of a rear end portion of the application member.

An applicator for a semi-solid material (e.g. lip balm) with an elastomeric material base cap has an interior tube long enough to cooperate with other structures to allow ejection of the plunger associated with the lip balm and its shaft by continued depression of the base cap. This allows easy replacement of the lip balm in the applicator when the original is used up. The applicator also has a tubular housing with interior guide hub with ribs configured and positioned to preclude spinning of the shaft of the plunger mounting the lip balm. A dispenser for flowable material (such as lotion) comprises a bellows mounted in a housing with an elastomeric material base cap at one end, and an end cap at the other end with a first part connected to the housing by screw threads, and a second part connected to the first part by a living hinge.

A device for applying a cosmetic product, such as mascara, intended to be associated with a mascara reservoir. The device comprises a handling cap, forming a cap and a means for holding, moving and manoeuvring the application device, a rod portion having a main direction, a first end where it is associated with the handling cap and a second end section including a second end portion that terminates it, an application portion extending along a main axis, including a support member having two ends, provided with radial application members, hingedly mounted in an articulation zone and by articulation means on the rod portion at its second end portion, about a pivot axis, so that it can occupy a centred position and an extreme inclined position and be pivoted from one to the other, the articulation zone, the articulation means and the pivot axis being located in the median section of the support member, spaced from each of its both ends.

Cosmetic product application device, related kit and reservoir The device (14) includes: an applicator (40), comprising a gripping member (44) and a product application member t (46) intended to plunge into a reservoir (12) of a cosmetic product; an intermediate part (42) comprising a attachment sleeve (70) for the removable fastening of the gripping member (44), with the attachment sleeve (70) defining a circulation hole (76) of the product application member (46). The intermediate part (42) comprises an outer band (72) for protecting the applicator (40) protruding opposite the attachment sleeve (70), the band (72) having at its free edge (88) an insertion opening (90) of the reservoir (12). The intermediate part (42) comprises an inner fastening member (74) for the removable fastening of the reservoir (12), protruding in the band (72) opposite the attachment sleeve (70).

Finger mascara includes: a container for containing a cosmetic material; an application unit coupled the container; and a middle unit for detachably coupling the application unit to the container. The application unit includes: a finger insertion part in which a user can insert a finger from above; an outer cylinder surrounding the periphery of the finger insertion part and having an upward opening; a plurality of elastic supporting parts extending upward from the outer cylinder and capable of wrapping the finger inserted from above and being elastically transformed in a direction away from a central axis of the outer cylinder as the finger is inserted; a stick extending downward from one point of the inner space of the outer cylinder; and a brush for applying cosmetic material by coating the same thereon, wherein a free end of the elastic supporting parts is provided with a tip.

In an assembly device between an applicator assembly and a head of a bottle, the applicator assembly includes at least two sub-assemblies of parts, a first sub-assembly referred to as an outer sub-assembly and a second sub-assembly referred to as an inner sub-assembly, the inner sub-assembly being mobile in translation in the outer sub-assembly, along a main direction combined with the main longitudinal extension direction of the outer sub-assembly, along a course limited by blocking means, the blocking means being in embedded connection with the outer sub-assembly.

Kit (10) for producing an assembly for packaging and applying a product, notably a cosmetic product, comprising, for the one part, at least one container (20) delimiting at least one internal volume (22) which contains said product and at least one free edge of which defines an opening (28) for accessing the internal volume, said opening being closed off by a temporary closure member (29) that does not have an applicator member, and, for the other part, at least one device (30) for applying said product that is able to be inserted at least partially into said internal volume (22) and comprises at least one applicator member (32), a stem (34) bearing said applicator member (32), a gripping member (36) secured to said stem (34) and a wiping member (38) mounted around said stem and fixed removably thereto. The gripping member (36) forms a cap configured to replace the temporary closure member (29) so as to form an assembly for packaging and applying the cosmetic product, said gripping member (36) being able to close the opening (28) of said container (20) in a removable manner, the applicator member (32) being situated inside the container (20) when the gripping member closes said opening (28).

Disclosed are a wiper having a palette part and a mascara container including the same. A mascara container of the present invention includes a container body in which cosmetics are stored; an application part which is detachably coupled to the container body and has an application member for applying the cosmetics; and a wiper which is coupled to the container body and wipes the cosmetics smeared on the application member, wherein the wiper includes a palette part configured to temporarily keep some of the cosmetics smeared on the application member, and wipe the cosmetics smeared on the application member.

A cosmetic unit having an applicator, comprising an applicator element, which is connected to a handle by means of a wand, and having a cosmetic receptacle, which contains a supply of cosmetic, and a wiper. In its ready position, the applicator element dips into the cosmetic receptacle and in the course of this, the handle of the applicator is secured to the cosmetic receptacle in such a way that it closes this receptacle tightly. The applicator can be brought into its use position by pulling the applicator element out of the cosmetic receptacle through the wiper, wherein the applicator element has a central region that has a flocking and is mounted on the circumference of the applicator element and embraces the applicator element, preferably over a circumference angle of less than 180. The central region is arched outward in convex fashion and rimmed by at least one row of bristles on at least three of its four edges.
