The dispensing mechanism includes an elongated body that includes first and second ends and an actuator assembly operably coupled therewith. The applicator is operably coupled with the actuator assembly and is positioned at or near the first end of the elongated body and the first end of the container. A rotating cosmetic applicator system features a unique rod/wiper relationship that causes the rod to rotate when it passes through the wiper. The applicator head rotates in one direction when the user inserts the applicator through the wiper, and in the opposite direction when the user removes the applicator through the wiper. The result is a more even loading of product onto the applicator head than with a conventional mascara system. In the open position of the pivot frame, caps of the plurality of applicators can be disengaged from the respective plurality of reservoirs. In a closed position of the pivot frame, the pivot frame prevents the caps of the plurality of applicators from disengaging from the respective plurality of reservoirs.

A button type lip gloss tube comprising a liquid storage tube and a lip gloss brush mounted on the liquid storage tube. The lip gloss brush comprises a cap, a rod core movably mounted in the cap, a spring pressed between the cap and the rod core, and a button ring mounted in the cap. The button ring comprises a button and an elastic ring. The elastic ring confines the liquid storage tube, which is inserted into the cap, between the rod core and the elastic ring. When the button is pressed, the elastic ring is deformed and the liquid storage tube is disengaged from the cap by an elastic force of the spring. The button type lip gloss tube is convenient to install, highly automatic in production and assembly, and is convenient for a user to use since the lip gloss tube is opened by pressing the button.

An applicator system comprises a container and an applicator. The container is configured to contain a substance to be applied using the applicator. The container is further configured to support the applicator in an accessible orientation in use. For example, the container can comprise a first chamber that is open at an end thereof. The first chamber can be arranged to receive and locate at least an active end of the applicator therein and to hold the applicator in the accessible orientation in use. The container can also comprise a second chamber that is arranged to receive and hold therein the substance to be contacted by the active end of the applicator in use.

The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. A discharge head for a liquid dispenser for discharging cosmetic products which has a base to be secured to a liquid storage. The base has a coupling device in the form of a thread or a latching coupling device, for coupling to the liquid storage. The discharge head has a sponge carrier with a sponge receptacle in which a sponge is arranged. The sponge carrier is movable in a translationally guided manner with respect to the base and has a hollow connector inside which a liquid channel is provided that connects the liquid storage to the sponge receptacle. This liquid channel is provided with an outlet valve, which is opened by moving the sponge carrier in the direction of the base, such that liquid can flow freely out of the liquid storage into the sponge receptacle.
