A motorized misting hair dye applicator for dispersing a dye mist throughout the hair of a user employs a comb body having a plurality of teeth which each include an ultrasonic atomizer nozzle integral therewith. The comb body additionally includes a dye distribution system which allows stored liquid dye to be directed from a reservoir to each of the nozzles where the dye can be atomized into a mist. A momentary actuating button provides a manual switching interface which allows a user to selectively operate the dye distribution system so as to control the dispersal of dye mist from the nozzles. When a user combines this misting activity with the simple act of combing the teeth through their hair, the dye mist is dispersed throughout the portion of their hair being combed.

A cosmetic dispenser includes a communication unit, a control unit for acquiring at least one of user information and environment information through the communication unit and acquiring a cosmetic dispensing method based on at least one of the user information and the environment information, and a cosmetic dispensing unit having a plurality of cartridges for containing cosmetics and a discharge unit for discharging the cosmetics contained in the plurality of cartridges. A dispensing head for a system for dispensing a product, having a body having a well for mounting the head on a tube for the pressurized supply of the product and a recess in communication with the well by means of a dispensing path. The recess being equipped with a nozzle delimiting a dispensing space between the path and a discharge passage formed in the nozzle. The nozzle being equipped with an insert that has a membrane forming, in the space, a communication interface between an upstream part in which the path emerges and a downstream part that supplies the discharge passage. The membrane being reversibly deformable by the product exerting pressure coming from the upstream part, between a resting state in which the size of the interface is minimal and a stressed state in which the size of said interface is increased in order to provide dispensing.

Implementations described herein provide an apparatus and a method for applying mascara with a mascara applicator assembly. The mascara applicator assembly has a body. The body has an inner volume configured to accept mascara product. A stem is coupled to the body. The stem has a passage and one or more apertures. The one or more apertures extend through the stem and into the passage. A brush is disposed on a distal end of the stem and has a dispensing region and an application region. The dispensing region has bristle fibers arranged in an orientation different than the bristle fibers disposed in the application region.

The present invention a device for dispensing a composition, comprising: i) a dispensing head (1) intended to be fitted on a container that contains said composition, comprising: a body (3) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, an engaging part (10) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, at least partially defining at least one dispensing orifice (12), the cross section of the dispensing orifice being between 0.02 mm.sup.2 and 0.5 mm.sup.2, ii) the anhydrous composition comprising, in particular in a physiologically acceptable medium: a) at least one oily phase comprising at least one volatile hydrocarbon-based oil, and b) at least one clay, and c) at least one deodorant active agent, and d) at least one propellant. The present invention also relates to a method for the cosmetic treatment of body odor and optionally of human perspiration, which consists in applying to the surface of a keratin material a composition as defined above by means of the dispensing device defined above.

An improved hair coloring device is a lightweight cylindrical unit measuring approximately four to five inches (4″-5″) in length, with a slightly curved handle to provide a comfortable, ergonomic grip. The hollowed interior of the improved hair coloring device would house the interchangeable cartridge of chosen hair dye, which would extend downward and distribute out of an egress point or nozzle. A comb attachment, and an optional brush attachment are able to be inserted into this nozzle as well. Premixed and comprised of colorant ingredients, the dye cartridges for the improved hair coloring device would be produced in a manageable mousse form, as well as a liquid form, with a virtually endless array of shades to match the popular hair colorants available on the market, as well as any user's own natural hair color. A battery operated, automatic dispenser is also available for times when house current is not available.
