Water purification device

This invention concerns a fluid purification device. The device has container, a nozzle and a removable filter element. The container is preferably a bottle and has at least partially flexible sidewalls so that it is collapsible from a first, operative condition into a second, inoperative condition. The nozzle is connectable to the container and defines a first fluid flow path along which fluid flows when, in use, filling the container and a second fluid flow path along which fluid flows when, in use, dispensing fluid from the container. The removable filter element is carried by the nozzle such that it is positioned in the first fluid flow path so that the fluid is filtered when filling the container and positioned outside the second fluid flow path so that the flow of fluid is unobstructed by it when dispensing fluid from the container. The invention also concerns a method of filtering a fluid.

The standing telescopic beverage cup is an apparatus that contains a beverage and is mountable within the ground. The apparatus accommodates a user with an adjustable height. The apparatus includes a collapsible cup, a base plate, a main slot, a telescopic post, and a stake. The collapsible cup and the base plate, together, contain a beverage. The base plate upholds the collapsible cup. The main slot allows the telescopic post to connect to the base plate. The stake fastens the telescopic post into the ground while containing the beverage. The apparatus further includes a cover. The cover seals the collapsible cup with the base plate in order to prevent the collapsible cup from expanding and from coming into contact with nearby surfaces. The apparatus preferably includes a bubble leveler. The bubble leveler aids in the balancing of the beverage being contained.

Visor With Integrated Drinking Vessel

It is common for the organizers of endurance sports to provide aid stations along the route where participants may receive water to prevent dehydration. To reduce waste at these events, organizers encourage cupless races that requiring participants to carry their own vessels. The present invention comprises a hat with a visor, such as a baseball style cap, with a collapsible drinking vessel integrated into the visor. During the course of the race, a runner may encounter a water stop and require a vessel to contain the liquid for immediate consumption. At such time the runner can simply remove their hat and configure the vessel to the open position to receive the liquid. Post-consumption the vessel is configured back to the closed position and becomes seamlessly integrated into the visor with no negative effects upon the runner.

FOLDING CONTAINER

A container (100) is provided comprising a junction member (200). A first compartment (300) has a silicone first compartment storage portion (302), and a first compartment band (304) positioned around a mouth end (306) of the first compartment storage portion (302), wherein the mouth end (306) comprises a mouth lip (310) configured to be sealingly retained between a junction member planar portion (202) and the first compartment band (304). The first compartment storage portion (302) is configured to be folded about one or more thin sections of silicone (316) to fit within a volume of the junction member band portion (204) when the first compartment (300) is coupled to the junction member (200). A second compartment (400) has a lid (402) and a base (404), wherein the second compartment (400) is slidingly couplable to the junction member (200), and wherein the second compartment (400) is couplable to the junction member rail (222).

Collapsible container

A collapsible container, in particular a drinking cup, includes a cup-shaped element (2), made from a flexible deformable material, having a lower base part (3), a top part (4) with an opening (4) and side wall sections (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) arranged therebetween. The side wall sections (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) can be folded towards each other along fold lines (7, 8) formed into the material of the cup-shaped element (2). The cup-shaped element (2) can be folded together by twisting the base part (3) to the top part (4). The fold lines (7, 8) are oriented so that the cup-shaped element (2) constricts, as a result of torsion, between the base part (3) and the upper part (4) when twisting the base part (3).

A flexible structure may be configured to expand a collapsible flask. The flexible structure may include a first loop made of an elastically flexible material and a second loop made of an elastically flexible material. The first loop and the second loop may be operatively coupled together at a first intersection and a second intersection. The first loop and the second loop, together, may be elastically movable between a compressed configuration in which the first loop and the second loop are sufficiently narrow to fit through an opening of the collapsible flask, and an expanded configuration in which the first loop and the second loop are not sufficiently narrow to fit through the opening.
