A system for notifying a user about an estimated time of consumption of a product includes an electronic device and a processor. The electronic device is integrated with a container of a product and configured to transmit a plurality of data relating to the amount of product in the container. The processor is configured to perform steps of a method. The method receives from the electronic device the plurality of data relating to the amount of product in the container and, based on the received plurality of data, calculates a usage pattern for the product in the container. The method calculates, based on the usage pattern, an estimated time of consumption of the product in the container, and then either notifies a user of an estimated time of consumption of the product in the container or automatically orders a refill of the product based on the estimated time of consumption.

The proximity sensor is triggered without requiring the user to physically contact the call button unit. Instead, when a portion of the user's body, such as the user's hand or finger, is within a predefined distance from the call button unit for a predefined period of time, a signal will be transmitted with a call request message.

Then, the electronic device may receive user-interface activity information, which specifies selections of the configuration parameters for the electronic-device-specific application, where the configuration parameters for the electronic-device-specific application specify functions in a physical layer, a data link layer and a network layer in the electronic-device-specific application. Next, the electronic device may generate, based at least in part on the configuration parameters, the electronic-device-specific application.
System and method for pick-up sensing of a product
A system and method of detecting a pick-up of an item are provided. The method includes receiving at least one data packet from at least one IoT tag, extracting a frequency word from the at least one received data packet, wherein the frequency word is a measure of the at least one IoT, analyzing the frequency word to determine a pick-up event to be associated with a pick-up of the item attached to the at least one IoT tag, and upon detecting the pick-up event, sending a notification including an identification of the at least one IoT tag, wherein the notification incudes collateral product information associated with the picked-up item attached to the at least one IoT tag, and displaying the collateral product information of the picked-up item on a display on a physical location of the picked-up item.
