The system (102) detects an explosive device using one or more devices (204) based on one or more nano-explosive detection sensors (206) associated with the one or more devices (204). The system (102) further identifies a type, a quantity and a signal strength associated with the explosive device. The system (102) computes a distance between the explosive device and the one or more devices (204). The system (102) determines explosive device co-ordinates based on the computed distance and device co-ordinates associated with each device (204). The system (102) receives a data packet comprising data associated with the explosive device from the one or more devices (204). The system (102) determines a location of the explosive device based on an analysis of the data packet received from the one or more devices (204).

System and method for secure access to camera systems
Embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product that enable secure access to cameras in smart buildings. Some embodiments control outbound video from an environment such as a local network through an intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism. The local intelligent on-event video pushing mechanism hides the IP address of a source video camera, transcodes the video to a reduced size for wide area distribution, and pushes video to a recipient upon an event triggered received within the local environment (e.g., the local network.) Embodiments enable a remote video client on the far-side of the local network firewall to view the video streams of cameras on the near-side of the local network firewall when an event or trigger occurs.
Data processing system for detecting events and providing notifications
Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. The program receives a set of sensor data from a set of sensors. Each sensor in the set of sensors is configured to sense a physical quantity. Based on the set of sensor data, the program further determines that a particular event has occurred. Based on the determination that the particular event has occurred, the program also sends a set of notifications to a set of subscribers.

The digital signal processor can be configured to receive signals from the audio detector and to identify the environment in which the embedded sensor is located. The library can store statistical models associated with specific environments, and the digital signal processor can be configured identify specific events based on detected sounds within the particular environment by utilizing the statistical model associated with the particular environment. The DSP can associate a probability of accuracy for the identified audible event. A rules engine can be configured to receive the probability and transmit a report of the detected audible event.
