A cleaning brush comprises a removable handle and a brush. The removable handle includes a release actuator and release pin for attaching and detaching the handle from the brush. The brush has a rigid portion and a flexible portion. The flexible portion may include segments defined by channels in the flexible portion.

The invention relates to an applicator for a cosmetic product including a first part and a second part that extend along a longitudinal direction of extension from a proximal end towards a free distal end of the applicator, the first part and the second part being configured to form parts for applying the cosmetic product, one of the parts is mounted mobile in for translational with respect to the other of the parts, from at least a first retracted position, to a second deployed position, the first and second parts are configured to form together a variable volume reservoir, intended to contain the cosmetic product and that has a first volume when the parts occupy the first retracted position and a second volume when the parts occupy the second deployed position.

A method of forming an oral care implement. The method may include providing a body having a base and a bridge extending from a distal end of the base, the bridge terminating in a free end, mounting a plurality of tooth cleaning elements to the bridge, bending the bridge toward a proximal end of the base, and coupling the free end of the bridge to a proximal end of the base, thereby forming a head of an oral care implement.

Disclosed is a hand-held dish cleaning brush that includes an elongate handle with a scrubbing head at one end, the scrubbing head including a working part of an elastomer integrally formed with a plurality of bristles and with a plurality of scraping projections that are formed as an array of scraping teeth, wherein the bristles are not directly aligned with but off-set from the scraping teeth and pass between the scraping teeth when flexed forwardly or rearwardly toward the scraping teeth.

An oral care implement having movable and fixed tooth cleaning elements. The oral care implement may include a handle and a head coupled to the handle. The head may include a base that is coupled to the handle and a resilient bridge coupled to the base. The resilient bridge may be flexible between a normal state in which a portion of the resilient bridge is spaced from the base by a gap and a flexed state in which a portion of the resilient bridge is moved toward the base. Tooth cleaning elements may be coupled to the resilient bridge. Furthermore, the resilient bridge may include one or more apertures through which tooth cleaning elements that are fixed to the base may extend.

A brush head having a distal end, including: an elastomeric matrix including a first surface, and a plurality of retention rings disposed in the elastomeric matrix, each of which includes a first end, a second end positioned closer to the first surface of the elastomeric matrix than the first end, an interior wall with a central longitudinal axis, and an exterior wall. A toothbrush includes a handle and a head mounted to the handle. In one aspect, the head may include a base structure having a front surface. A cleaning element carrier may be at least partially suspended above the front surface of the base structure so that at least a portion of the cleaning element carrier is movable relative to the base structure in a direction towards the front surface of the base structure. The cleaning element carrier may have a first segment and a second segment that are separated by a gap. A plurality of bristle tufts may extend from the first and second segments of the cleaning element carrier. A central cleaning element may extend from the front surface of the base structure and through the gap between the first and second segments of the cleaning element carrier.

A toothbrush includes an elongate body having a handle and a head formed with bristle assemblies each including elastic upper and lower boots on either side of an intermediate layer, an elastic collar extends through the intermediate layer from the lower boot to the upper boot, a tuft of bristles bound by a coupling, the tuft of bristles extends from the coupling in the lower boot through the collar and through the upper boot and therebeyond to a brushing extremity, the upper boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the upper boot and the tuft of bristles through the upper boot, the lower boot provides lateral elastic compliance between the lower boot and the coupling in the lower boot, and the intermediate layer pinches the collar against the tuft of bristles through the collar elastically retaining the tuft of bristles through the elastic collar to the elastic collar.

A hand attachable animal washing apparatus, attachable upon the hand of a user, is provided enabling singlehanded control of waterflow and application of water into the coat of an animal. Control of waterflow though a molded body member is enabled by operation of a compressible portion disposed to control a valve assembly disposed interiorly within the molded body member. A proximal arced edge is disposed projected rearwardly from the molded body member and curved downward to direct waterflow away from a user operating the device, particularly when the device is elevated above a user, as when washing a large animal such as a horse, for example. A user may thereby control and apply water to an animal with one hand while securing and comforting the animal with the other hand.
