Cleaning devices having selectively flexible or rigid handles
A cleaning device is provided that includes a handle, a cleaning implement, a flexible neck, and a collar. The cleaning implement depends from one end the handle. The flexible neck is positioned to allow flexion of the handle. The collar moves with respect to the flexible neck between a first position where movement of the flexible neck is unrestricted by the collar and a second position where movement of the flexible neck is restricted by the collar.
Toothbrush including a device for indicating brushing force
A toothbrush that includes a piezochromic polymer or a proximity dye based polymer effective to emit an optical signal indicative of brushing force.
SCRAPER ASSEMBLY
The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.
ORAL CARE DEVICE
A mouthpiece device for oral cleaning with a dedicated mechanical structure (termed an anchoring member) for providing a support onto which the user can hold fast their jaw in order to anchor the non-moving part of the mouthpiece to the reference frame of the jaw, such that the moving part of the mouthpiece (which carries cleaning elements) moves in an approximately predictable way relative to the upper and lower rows of teeth. The anchoring member is supported mechanically in such a way that it is moveable relative to the part of the mouthpiece which carries the cleaning elements in a transverse direction (that is, in a direction approximately parallel with the plane of the mouthpiece), so as to permit, in use, the mouthpiece portion to be moved sideways in the mouth to reach all teeth.
SLIM TOOTHBRUSH
A slim toothbrush for cleaning teeth of both the upper and lower jaw simultaneously is disclosed. The slim toothbrush is designed with smaller dimensions targeting users who are unable to open their mouths widely. The slim toothbrush comprises a toothbrush head having both an upper and lower surface, each surface having a plurality of outer and inner bristles designed to accept teeth of the upper and lower jaw of a user simultaneously and allow for cleaning of the respective teeth from the crown to the gum line.
