Projection mapping system and apparatus
A marking and display system includes a scanning apparatus, comprising a processor in data communication with a networking device, at least one input/output device, and computer memory, the computer memory comprising a program having machine readable instructions that, when effected by processor, perform the following steps: (a) scan an area of interest for a first scan; (b) determine the presence of at least one abnormality at the area of interest; and (c) provide a marking at an area substantially adjacent the at least one abnormality.

Measuring device
A measuring device for use with a laser level includes a measuring tape. A section of the measuring tape is substantially transparent and thus allows passage of a laser beam that is emitted by a laser level. Indicia of the measuring tape indicate a distance of the laser beam from a terminus of the measuring tape.

TAPE MEASURE HAVING A LASER TRANSMISSION WINDOW
A tape measure to be reeled on a spool rotatably mounted within a housing defining an opening for paying out and for retrieval by rotation of the spool within in the housing. The tape measure includes a tape having a first end and a second end. The first end connected to the spool and the second end movable through the opening between a retracted position and an extended position. The tape includes a steel blade with length markings on the obverse. The blade extends along its length from the first end to the second end having a window. The window includes a pane of polymer. The polymer includes pigments to selectively transmit laser emitted from a laser level. The pane in held within the window in a manner allowing the reel to pay out and retract the blade in use.

Measuring Tape Clip
A tape clip apparatus for resiliently and removably installing on a measuring tape, includes a main body portion hingedly connected to an engaging portion. The engaging portion is sized to substantially overlay the main body portion. The main body portion has a window including an indicator, and at least one leg having an engaging panel. The engaging portion includes a triangular cut-out tab which is aligned with the indicator in the window in the main body portion. The engaging portion also includes a cradle for holding the measuring tape, and a resilient clip for engaging the engaging panel. The cradle holds the measuring tape such that the measuring tape is visible through the window, and the triangular cut-out tab extends away from the main body portion and the engaging portion when they are folded together.
Tape rule assembly with linear optical encoder for sensing human-readable graduations of length
A tape rule assembly includes a linear optical encoder for sensing human-readable graduations of length disposed on a surface of a tape, without requiring any other machine-readable indicia to be present on the tape. The optical encoder includes two optical sensors disposed in a sensor holder pivotably disposed in the tape rule housing and configured to be displaced relative to one another in the housing along both the x axis and the z axis, a set of intersecting x, y and z axes being defined relative to a tape exit in the tape rule housing.

Measurement marking device
Disclosed is a measurement marking device for attachment onto a measuring tape or ruler; wherein the attached measurement marking device may slide/travel along the measuring tape or ruler, and set measurement(s) marking(s) onto the measured object at desired measurements/locations/sizes/lengths.
