Cartridge and chamber gauges
A gauge with two probes measures a rifle chamber to determine the distance from the center of the shoulder to the start of the bore. A gauge with two holes measures a loaded cartridge to determine the distance from the center of the shoulder to the place on the bullet where the cross sectional diameter is the same as the bore of the rifle. The difference between these two measurements is bullet jump: the distance the bullet will move, upon firing, before it engages the rifling of the barrel. These same tools, properly sized, also provide a unique and convenient means for determining the cone angle of any conical surface.
Gauge tool for determining blind fastener length
Embodiments herein provide determining blind fastener length. One embodiment is a gauge tool that includes a base plate, and a nose piece including a hollow cylindrical member extending through the base plate and an expandable tip configured to radially expand to circumferentially contact a back rim of a hole. The nose piece is configured to slide with respect to the base plate to retract into the base plate until stopped by the expandable tip pressing the back rim of the hole. The gauge tool further includes a measurement device configured to detect a translating distance of a slidable member moving with retraction of the nose piece, and to display the translating distance for determining a fastener length for the hole.

DEVICE FOR CHECKING BRAKE SWITCH GAP AND METHOD OF USING THEREOF
A device for checking gap tolerance between an adjustable portion of a brake switch and a brake pedal includes a handle and one or more probes extending from the handle. Each of the one or more probes include jaw portions defining multiple stepped regions of increasing thickness with decreasing distance from the handle and a slot extending through the multiple stepped regions. The slot is configured to be inserted between the adjustable portion of the brake switch and the brake pedal. A dimensional tolerance of the slot in at least one of the stepped regions equals a preset gap tolerance between the adjustable portion of the brake switch and the brake pedal.

SURGICAL DEPTH INSTRUMENT
A device configured to provide a faster and more accurate measurement of depths of holes for placement of bone screws and fastener for bone implant fixation procedures. The device includes a combination of a bone probe for physical examination of a hole drilled in a bone and a depth gauge member for determining a depth of the hole and providing digital measurement of the depth via a display on the instrument and/or via a wireless exchange of measurement data to a remote computing device, such as a tablet or smartphone.
STRUCTURAL COMPONENT FINDER DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
The present disclosure relates to the field of tools and more particularly to tools used for locating non-visible structural elements. In specific embodiments, the tools are used to locate non-visible structural elements, such as under a roof or behind a wall.
SURGICAL DEPTH INSTRUMENT HAVING NEUROMONITORING CAPABILITIES
A device configured to provide a faster and more accurate measurement of depths of holes for placement of bone screws and fastener for bone implant fixation procedures. The device includes a combination of a bone probe for physical examination of a hole drilled in a bone and a depth gauge member for determining a depth of the hole and providing digital measurement of the depth via a display on the instrument and/or via a wireless exchange of measurement data to a remote computing device, such as a tablet or smartphone. The device may further be connected to a separate neuromonitoring device and be used for nerve sensing and/or nerve stimulation by way of the bone probe. For example, the bone probe may include a conductive material such that the distal probe tip acts as an extension of the neuromonitoring device and may be used to sense and/or stimulate nerves.
