AN ARTICLE FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article is provided for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system. The article includes an aerosol generating material and a mouthpiece connected to the aerosol generating material. The pressure difference across the mouthpiece is less than 32 mm H2O. There is also provided a system including the article and a non-combustible aerosol provision device for heating the aerosol generating material of the article.
Smoking article comprising aerogel
A smoking article is provided that includes an aerogel, which can be optionally impregnated with a catalytic metal compound or can optionally be coated with at least one aerosol-forming material and a flavoring agent. The smoking article comprises various segments such as a heat generation segment, an aerosol-generation segment, and a mouth end. The aerogel can be placed near or within any of these segments. The presence of the aerogel can reduce the concentration of certain gaseous components of mainstream smoke generated during use of a smoking article incorporating a heat generation segment containing a fuel element.
BREAKABLE CAPSULES AND METHODS OF FORMING THEREOF
A breakable capsule such as a seamless breakable capsule useful in a smoking article or a smokeless tobacco product includes an outer shell formed of a cross-linked agar matrix including at least one filler, and an inner core surrounded by the outer shell which comprises a liquid or gel based composition of a flavorant and/or non-flavorant. The cross-linked agar matrix is reinforced with carboxymethyl cellulose that is dispersed throughout the agar matrix so as to fill empty spaces in the agar matrix and inhibit the composition from passing through the empty spaces of the agar matrix.
Hollow leaf tube with flavor capsule
A device for burning smoking material and inhaling the resulting smoke is disclosed. The device can include a tubular member formed from a dried leaf having an internal elongated cavity extending from an open end to a closed end. The elongated cavity can be configured to receive a smoking material. The smoking accessory can include a filter disposed within dried leaf and defining the closed end. The filter can have a recess formed in a surface of the cylindrical body along a curved face extending from the first end to the second end, the recess extending radially into the cylindrical body. The smoking accessory can include a capsule containing a flavoring agent disposed within the recess.
CONSUMABLE FOR AN AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
A consumable for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system including an aerosol-generating segment having at least one aerosol-generating material and a mouthpiece segment including a section of an amorphous solid material. It also relates to a non-combustible aerosol provision system, a method for producing a consumable, and use of a section of an amorphous solid material.
TOBACCO ROD, AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND AEROSOL GENERATION DEVICE USED THEREWITH
A tobacco rod, an aerosol-generating article including the same, and an aerosol generation device used with the aerosol-generating article are provided. The tobacco rod according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may include a first filter segment, a second filter segment, and a cavity segment which is formed by the first filter segment and the second filter segment and filled with a tobacco material. Here, at least one of the first filter segment and the second filter segment may include a paper material that is grease-resistant or water-resistant. Accordingly, a problem that vapor production is decreased due to moisture absorption from components of smoke can be addressed, and a heat-resistant tobacco rod can be manufactured.

Medium dpf and total denier cellulose acetate tow
Disclosed are cellulose acetate tows, bales, and filter rods having from greater than 9 to less than 12.5 denier per filament and from 20,000 to 40,000 total denier, for use in smoking devices, including aerosol-generating devices such as an electrically heated cigarette.
AEROSOL-GENERATING ARTICLE HAVING BIODEGRADABLE FILTRATION MATERIAL
There is provided an aerosol-generating article (10) comprising an aerosol-generating substrate (12) and a filter (14) in axial alignment with the aerosol-generating substrate (12). The filter (14) comprises at least one segment of filtration material formed of one or more sheets of a fibrous paper-like material. The fibrous paper-like material comprises a combination of hydrophobic fibres and hydrophilic fibres such that the fibrous paper-like material has a water contact angle as measured in accordance with TAPPI/ANSI T 558 om-15 greater than 90 degrees. Further, the fibrous paper material has a biodegradability in aqueous medium as tested in accordance with ISO 14851 (2005) of at least 90 percent of the maximum degradation of a cellulose reference item within 56 days of testing. In addition, the hydrophobic fibres comprise hydrophobic viscose fibres.
Paper Sheet and Method of Making It
The present invention relates to a biodegradable paper sheet for filter element comprising refined cellulose fibers and hydrophobic fibers.
