Inspection jig, gauge inspector, and method for holding gauge
A gauge inspection jig for performing an inspection easily and accurately in a reverse posture with a contact point facing upward when a gauge is inspected. The gauge inspection jig includes a body portion and a coupling portion. The body portion holds a member mounted to a body portion of the gauge. This holds the gauge in the reverse posture. The coupling portion is coupled to the body portion. The coupling portion is couplable to a distal end of a measurement spindle disposed on a gauge inspector to be movable in a measurement axis direction.
Universal tram
A universal tram is provided for aligning machine tools. The universal tram includes a slide rail, featuring a rail along its length, to which a clamping coupler attaches. In turn, the clamping coupler attaches to the indicator holder. The indicator holder is configured to hold an indicator. The slide rail is configured for direct attachment to horizontal and vertical milling machines, for example. Optionally, the universal tram also includes a machine adapter and adapter plate. The machine adapter serves as a base block for positioning a measurement or tramming device on a machine tool to which the slide rail does not directly attach—a horizontal or vertical lathe, for example. The adapter plate allows for the height of the machine adapter to be adjusted by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the adapter plate. Further, a method of using the universal tram is also provided.
Wheel holder
A wheel clamp (2) for fastening to a wheel (1), in particular to a wheel (1) of a motor vehicle, comprises at least two arms (22, 23, 24) which extend outward from a center (28) of the wheel clamp (2) in a radial direction. Each of the arms (22, 23, 24) has at least one movable element (32, 33, 34) which is movable in the radial direction. The wheel clamp (2) comprises a locking member (82) which is designed such that the movable elements (32, 33, 34), by operation of the locking member (82), can be fixed such that the movable elements (32, 33, 34) are no longer movable in the radial direction. The wheel clamp (2) also comprises an unlocking member (84) which is designed such that a fixation of the movable elements (32, 33, 34) can be released by operation of the unlocking member (84).
WORKPIECE HOLDER FOR UTILIZATION IN METROLOGY SYSTEM FOR MEASURING WORKPIECE IN DIFFERENT ORIENTATIONS
A workpiece holder is configured to hold a workpiece and is utilized in a metrology system which includes a sensing configuration for obtaining 3-dimensional surface data for the workpiece. The workpiece holder includes at least three reference features (e.g., spherical reference features extending from sides) that are configured to be sensed by the sensing configuration when the workpiece holder is in different orientations (e.g., as rotated 180 degrees between first and second orientations for presenting front and back sides of the workpiece towards the sensing configuration). A determination of 3-dimensional positions of the reference features for each orientation enables a combining (e.g., in a common coordinate system) of 3-dimensional surface data that is acquired for the workpiece in each orientation. Interchangeable workpiece holding portions may be provided that fit within the workpiece holder for holding workpieces with different characteristics (e.g., having different sizes and/or shapes).
FULL-AUTOMATIC WHEEL HUB THREE-DIMENSIONAL SCANNING SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT PRODUCTION LINES OF AUTOMOTIVE WHEEL HUB
Provided a full-automatic wheel hub 3D scanning system for intelligent production line of automotive wheel hubs, comprising: a base plate is provided with an X-directional displacement control device and a Y-directional displacement control device; a roller-table assembly is arranged on the base plate and comprises a roller table, wherein the roller table is provided with an opposite-type photoelectric sensors and a wheel hub centring positioning device for centring positioning a wheel hub; a 3D scanning device, comprising a mounting bracket, wherein the bottom of the mounting bracket is controlled by the Y-directional displacement control device; a 3D scanner is mounted on the mounting bracket; a wheel hub scanning platform is arranged at an end of the roller-table assembly and is controlled by the X-directional displacement control device; and a robot is arranged on a first side of the wheel hub scanning platform, for conveying the wheel hubs after 3D scanning.
MOVING DEVICE FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) SCANNER
A moving device for a three-dimensional scanner, including a main body, a moving mechanism, a round tube, a driving mechanism and a fixing mechanism. A connecting rod is vertically fixed on an upper side of the main body. The moving mechanism is configured to drive the main body to move. The round tube is sleevedly provided on an outer side of the connecting rod. A fixing sleeve is vertically fixed on an inner side wall of the round tube. A sliding rod is insertedly provided in the fixing sleeve. A lower end of the sliding rod is fixedly connected to the main body, and an upper end extends to be below the 3D scanner and is provided with a top plate. When the round tube moves upward to an outer side of the 3D scanner, the round tube is fixed by the fixing mechanism.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATED PART MEASUREMENT
A system for measuring a length of a work piece including a leveling fixture disposed at a first end of the work piece and a range target disposed at a second end. The leveling fixture includes a precision stop abutting against the first end and range finders configured to be substantially aligned with the first end. The range target includes a target stop abutting against the second end and a vertical portion substantially aligned with the second end when the target stop abuts the second end. The range finders are each configured to take measurements between the range finders and the vertical portion of the range target so as to provide a measurement of the length of the work piece.
Length measuring device
A length measuring device includes a carrier with a scale which extends longitudinally in a measuring direction. A scanning carriage for scanning a measuring graduation of the scale is longitudinally guided in the measuring direction, and, via a coupling, is rigidly coupled to a driver in the measuring direction and transversely thereto coupled to it in a flexible manner. The coupling includes a coupling element arranged between a first coupling point on the scanning carriage and a second coupling point on the driver. At the second coupling point, the coupling element is attached via a solid-body joint that is designed to carry the coupling element so as to be freely rotatable in relation to the driver about an axis of rotation which runs perpendicularly to a plane of the measuring graduation. The coupling element has a lower density than steel and/or a higher modulus of elasticity than steel.
