Measuring tool for disc brake device brake pad
A measuring tool for disc brake device brake pad, which includes a base, a first tube, a second tube, a front rod, a measuring rod, and a spring, wherein the first tube is configured at the front end of the base, the first tube is perforated with a sighthole. The second tube is pivoted in the first tube, and a marking is formed on the exterior of the midsection of the second tube. The front rod is configured at the front end of the second tube, and a pivot hole axially penetrates the front end of the front rod. The measuring rod pivotal penetrates the front rod, the second tube, and the first tube. The rear end of the measuring rod is inserted into the center of the front end of the base. A contact pin extends in a curved sideward direction from the front end of the measuring rod, and the contact pin abut against the front end of a protruding portion. The spring is disposed in the interior of the second tube, and the two ends of the spring respectively abut against the front rod and the base.
BRAKE COMPONENT MEASUREMENT TOOL
A tool for measuring dimensions of disc brake components has an elongated first member. The elongated first member has a first tip extending transversely from the first member. The first tip has a first projection at an end portion of the first tip. An elongated second member is relatively movable to first member. The second member has a second tip extending transversely from the second member in the same direction as the first tip of the first member. The second tip has a second projection at an end portion of the second tip and extends in a direction towards the first projection. First indicia are provided on the first and second members to indicate the relative distance between the first and second projections when measuring an object located between the first and second projections. Second indicia are provided on the first and second members to indicate the relative distance between surfaces of the first and second tips when measuring spaced apart objects located outside of the first and second projections.
Brake measuring gauge and method
A brake measuring gauge and method are disclosed. The measuring gauge comprises two measuring rods and a horizontal rule. Each of the two measuring rod has at least a connecting rod formed at an end of the measuring rod to engage with a nut. The horizontal ruler has a central hole formed at a central portion of a surface thereof, and two through holes are formed at relative positions on two ends of the horizontal ruler, and two scales are separately formed at a lateral side of the horizontal ruler. By using the measuring gauge to measure and calculate the dimensions of components of the brake rotor, the user can obtain precise sizes of the adapter bases for different types of the calipers or the brake discs.
Measurement Tool and Method of Measuring Brake Stroke
A measurement tool and a method of measuring brake stroke of a brake assembly. The method may include installing the measurement tool on the brake assembly. An actuator shaft may be actuated with a lever tool. The measurement tool may measure the brake stroke when the actuator shaft is actuated.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS TO TEST A VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEM
According to one aspect, a method includes receiving, in a dynamometer, brake pedal position information. The brake pedal position information indicates a position of a brake pedal operatively coupled to a vehicle. The method also includes displaying, via a display in communication with the dynamometer, an indication of the position of the brake pedal based on the brake pedal position information. The method further includes determining a brake force generated via a brake of the vehicle when the position of the brake pedal is within a predetermined range of brake pedal positions.
