The system may comprise a harvesting row unit, with a camera, a processing unit, and an in-cab display. The system may additionally include a stalk alignment guide, a leaf shield, an artificial light source, and/or a lens cleaning apparatus.

Agricultural Systems Having Stalk Sensors And Data Visualization Systems And Related Devices And Methods

The disclosure relates to agricultural systems. The systems have stalk sensor assemblies and/or data visualization systems. The stalk sensor assemblies are configured for assessing the size and other characteristics about crops, such as corn and other grains entering an agricultural implement, such as a harvester. The stalk sensor assemblies may use an estimation of the stalk perimeter to establish stalk size and therefore further features about the crop. The visualization system utilizes data from the stalk sensor assemblies to calculate and display relevant information about the crop.

Method and device for detecting absolute friction wear on at least one tire of a vehicle
11090985 · 2021-08-17 · ·

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determination of the wear on at least one tire of a vehicle, wherein the vehicle has a tire pressure monitoring system, consisting of a pressure sensor, a transmission unit and a reception unit, as well as a computer unit and a data memory having a database. Proceeding from a circumference of the tire (5) defined by the tire manufacturer and thereby a mantle surface having a length L=2πr, wherein r is the radius of the tire (5), the radius decreases during corresponding wear, and thereby the length of the mantle surface also decreases. The length of the flat pattern of a new tire is therefore greater, in terms of length, than the length of the flat pattern of a used tire. This is determined by a sensor (4), the value of which is transmitted by a first module (2) to a second module (3), which is fixed in place. There, the value L is calculated and compared with data in a database and evaluated.

The disclosure provides a measurement garment and a measuring system. The measurement garment includes a first recognition pattern. The first recognition pattern is disposed at a stretchable part of the measurement garment, wherein the first recognition pattern comprises a first reference point and a second reference point, the stretchable part corresponds to a body part of a wearer wearing the measurement garment, and a specific distance between the first reference and a second reference point varies in response to the body part, and a variation of the specific distance is used for measuring a dimension of the body part.

Outer dimensioning measurement system for tubulars
11035656 · 2021-06-15 · ·

The disclosure relates to an outer dimension measurement apparatus for tubulars. The apparatus includes a first wheel and a second wheel, which may be applied to different sections of a tubular. The ratio between the outer dimensions of the different sections may be estimated based on the relationship between the rates of rotations of the first and second wheels when the tubular is rotated. The apparatus may include a tubular rotation sensor that, with either the first wheel or the second wheel, may be used to determine the outer dimension of the tubular at the point along the tubular's length when the respective wheel is applied. The methods include estimating a ratio between outer dimensions of sections of a tubular and estimating the outer dimension of the tubular at a specific point along its length using embodiments of the apparatus.

An orthopedic guide that can comprise a base, a first attachment and a second attachment is disclosed. The base can have a plurality of connection features spaced from one another along a longitudinal extent. The base can be configured to seat on a rim of a bone. The first attachment can be selectively coupled to the base at a first end portion thereof and can be selectively coupled to the base at a second end portion thereof. The first attachment can be arch shaped when coupled to the base. The first attachment can define a first plurality of apertures. The second attachment can be selectively coupled to the base at a first end portion thereof and can be selectively coupled to the base at a second end portion thereof. The second attachment can be arch shaped when coupled to the base. The first attachment can define a second plurality of apertures.

Self-calibrating base station for offset measurements

A self-calibrating system, apparatus, and method for accurately measuring a volumetric capacity of a tank. The system, apparatus and method comprise: a mechanism that adjusts a level of a platform; a light-emitting device with beam-like optics (laser, diode, etc.) mounted to the platform; mechanism for adjusting alignment of the light-emitting device with respect to the platform; a mechanism for rotating the platform by variable angles, including by 180-degrees; one or more level sensors (such as, for example, spirit levels, tilt sensors, or other devices) that provide feedback on the alignment of the platform normal to the gravity vector.

DETERMINING A VOLUME OF A TANK
20230408239 · 2023-12-21 ·

A method and an assembly for determining a volume of a tank. A measuring tape having multiple magnets is attached to a first location of the tank. A first circumference of the tank at the first location of the tank is measured. A value of the first circumference is recorded. Multiple wheels coupled to the measuring tape are rotated. Responsive to rotating the wheels, the measuring tape is moved from the first location to a second location of the tank. A second circumference of the tank at the second location is measured. A value of the second circumference is recorded. Based on the value of the first circumference and the value of the second circumference, the volume of the tank is calculated.
