A paint applicator, kit and methodology for using the same is disclosed. For example, a paint applicator that allows a user to load a desired amount of paint, such as a water based or other low VOC paint, into the paint applicator and an advancement mechanism that dispenses paint at a rate controllable by the user is disclosed. The advancement mechanism can include a system that translates a rotational force applied to an end cap of the applicator into a linear force that advances a piston which in turn applies paint to an applicator portion. The paint applicator may be reusable or may include a ratchet system that allows for only one time use. The methodology and kit can incorporate a syringe for loading paint into the paint applicator, thus reducing the loss of paint through spilling.

An improved system and method for loading paint continuously to a paintbrush is described herein. A substantially cylindrical container can comprise a first orifice, a second orifice, a void, a plunger, a rod, a biasing device, and a paint-dispenser. The first orifice at a front end of the container. The second orifice at a back end of the container. The void that can be within the container can be fillable with the paint. The rod can be slidably mounted within the second orifice and the ring. The biasing device can be positionable into expanded state, and extracted state. Further, wherein the biasing device can move relatively to the amount of paint that can placed within the void. The paint-dispenser can be connectable with the container through a hose, the paint dispenser can comprise a button. The button once actuated can be capable of releasing the paint to a paintbrush bristles.

An oral care system comprising a toothbrush and a dispenser is disclosed. In one embodiment, the dispenser comprises a housing having a longitudinal axis and an internal reservoir containing an oral care material; a drive component rotatably disposed within the housing and comprising a drive screw, the drive component being axially retained relative to the housing through mechanical interference; and an elevator coupled to the drive screw so that rotation of the drive component in a first rotational direction causes the elevator to axially advance along the drive screw in a first axial direction to dispense the oral care material from a dispensing orifice.

A dispenser that includes a resilient applicator that optimizes application of a subject fluid to a desired surface. In one embodiment, the invention is a dispenser comprising a housing having an internal reservoir containing the fluid. The resilient applicator is coupled to the housing and comprises a dispensing orifice. The resilient applicator comprises a working surface that is oriented at an oblique angle to a longitudinal axis of the housing.

The applicator may include an applicator tip and an applicator handle detachably or non-detachably connected to a proximal end of the applicator tip. The applicator tip may include an external ridge, a plurality of internal ridges, and a plurality of internal channels between the plurality of internal ridges.

A toothbrush comprising a brush head and neck, a hollow toothpaste storage chamber, and a plunger, in which the brush head has bristles and one or more apertures, and the neck is hollow. A portion of the plunger sits inside of the hollow storage chamber, and a spring sits inside of the hollow plunger. In one embodiment, the invention is a dispenser comprising a housing having an internal reservoir containing the fluid. The resilient applicator is coupled to the housing and comprises a dispensing orifice. The resilient applicator comprises a working surface that is oriented at an oblique angle to a longitudinal axis of the housing and is defined by a polygonal perimeter edge, the polygonal perimeter edge comprising a plurality of apex portions and a plurality of side portions, wherein one of the plurality of side portions forms a distal most-portion of the resilient applicator.

A system comprising an implement and dispenser containing a fluid detachably coupled to the implement. In one embodiment, the dispenser has a housing that includes a reservoir containing a fluid and an actuator for dispensing the fluid from the dispenser. The dispenser is at least partially located within the cavity of the handle. The housing of the dispenser has at least one protuberance that protrudes radially beyond an outer surface of the handle thereby forming a ridge that a user can grip to remove the dispenser from the cavity of the handle.
