A device and method for measuring the thickness and position tolerance of a wheel bolt hole. The device includes a screw, a handle, a detection pillar and a base plate, where the handle and the base plate are fixed via the screw; the detection pillar is fixed onto the base plate through interference fit; and the detection pillar a bolt hole. The position tolerance and thickness of a bolt hole are measured simultaneously, and the labor intensity is reduced, and the existing bolt hole position tolerance detection tool can be modified for the use as the tool of the device, saving costs. The tool can detect the thickness of a bolt hole and qualitatively determine the range where the difference between the value of bolt hole thickness and the standard value approximately lies, and can be used for the grading of bolt hole thickness values based.

A probe includes a movable plate to which a stylus capable of contacting a measurable object is mounted, the movable plate displaceable in an X direction; a static plate arranged to overlap with the movable plate; a counter plate facing the movable plate and the static plate; an elastic movable side connection plate, the movable side connection plate connecting the counter plate at at least three places with each of a first end connector positioned toward a first end of the movable plate in the X direction and second end connectors positioned toward a second end in the X direction; and a static side connection plate which connects the static plate and the counter plate. An entire length of the first end connector in a Y direction orthogonal to the X direction is the same size as the entire length of the second end connectors in the Y direction.

The present invention provides an installation device comprising a substantially planar first element having a first elongate body having a first end and a second end opposing the first end, the elongate body defining a first longitudinal axis and having a width w1 extending transverse to the first longitudinal axis, the elongate body defining a linear alignment indicator located at a midpoint of width w1 and extending along the length of the first element; and a substantially planar second element having a second elongate body having a first end and a second end opposing the first end, the elongate body defining a second longitudinal axis and having a width w2 extending transverse to the second longitudinal axis, the elongate body defining an engagement channel extending along a portion of the length of the second element, the second elongate body further comprising a plurality of position indicators along at least a portion of its length; and engagement means extending from the first element through the engagement channel and operable to secure the first and second elements to one another, wherein the installation device is moveable between a first configuration in which the first and second elements are pivotable relative to one another about the engagement means; a second configuration where the second element is slidable relative to the first element in a direction parallel to the second longitudinal axes; and a third configuration in which the first and second elements are fixed relative to one another. A template for assisting in drilling holes in a countertop adjacent to a sink during a water faucet installation process. The template includes at least one plate segment. A bottom surface of the plate segment is configured to overly the countertop. A top surface of the plate segment defines at least one guide bore for guiding a rotary device during the formation of the hole. A drop flange extends downwardly from a front side of the at least one plate segment for engaging an edge of the countertop along the sink. The drop flange is spaced from a center of the at least one guide bore by a first distance in order to allow the hole to be drilled through the countertop along the at least one guide bore at the first distance away from the edge of the countertop.
