ROLL TESTING MACHINE FOR ROLL TESTING TOOTHINGS
20240295465 · 2024-09-05 ·

A roll testing machine for roll testing toothings includes a first spindle and a second spindle, and a first master wheel, which is arranged on the first spindle. The roll testing machine allows for a more efficient testing of a shaft having two gearings by using a second master wheel, which is arranged on the first spindle.

Roller chain wear gauge

Devices and methods for measuring roller chain wear are provided. A roller chain wear gauge may include an elongated structure configured to be inserted into a gap between two roller links of a chain joined by a pin link of the chain, the chain having an associated chain size. The elongated structure may include a first side surface, a second side surface, a length extending along a longitudinal axis of the elongated structure, and a plurality of widths located along the length and defined by and between the first and second side surfaces. The first side surface may extend at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis such that the plurality of widths continuously tapers over the length. The plurality of widths may be calibrated against a reference chain representative of the associated chain size.

Valve stem nut wear analysis apparatus and method

A method and apparatus for measuring stem nut wear in a valve having a threaded valve stem that is positioned to engage the threads of a stem nut. In a preferred embodiment, a tool is mounted on the stem nut, wherein the tool rotates when the stem nut rotates. The tool indicates a measurement of stem nut rotation. An indicator indicates stem movement. The stem nut is rotated and the amount of percent wear is observed. Rotation continues until the stem begins to move. The tool provides a reading when the stem begins to move that indicates an amount of stem nut wear.

GUIDE FOR ALIGNING ELECTRICAL SWITCHES AND OUTLETS IN A MULTIPLE GANG ELECTRICAL BOX
20250076020 · 2025-03-06 ·

A guide aligns electrical devices such as switches and outlets that are mounted in a longitudinal row within a multiple gang electrical box prior to mounting a faceplate on the electrical box in which the faceplate includes a row of apertures receiving face portions of the electrical devices respectively therein. The guide has a main body and at least one guide finger protruding from the main body transversely to a longitudinal direction of the main body towards a free distal end of the guide finger. The guide finger(s) have guide surfaces extending parallel to one another at opposing sides of the guide finger, spaced at a prescribed distance equal to an aperture distance between the apertures in the faceplate. The fingers can be inserted between electrical devices to align the devices relative to the box before mounting the faceplate.
