Paint applicator with brush
A paint container includes a brush attached to the container. The brush is in fluid communication with the interior of the container to receive paint through passages reaching into the interior of the container. A container cap is attachable over the brush to prevent paint on the brush from drying out between use. The container includes a diaphragm in at least one side allowing a user to create pressure inside the container to urge paint into the brush. One example of suitable paint is water based paint.
An Applicator
An applicator for a container, the container for storing a substance to be applied and including an outlet through which the substance is to be discharged, wherein the applicator includes a brush head adapted to be located at the outlet; and a removable nozzle adapted to be optionally mounted over the brush head.
Oral care device
A toothbrush device having a body defining a cavity and an input port disposed on the body in fluid communication with the cavity. The input port permits brushing by-products to pass through the input port and into the cavity while restricting passage of the brushing by-products outward from the cavity. In one form, the toothbrush device includes an elongated handle with a reservoir having at least a portion disposed within the handle. The reservoir is sized to hold a predetermined amount of oral care product, and a mouthpiece is in fluid communication with the reservoir to discharge the oral care product from the reservoir.
Manual and electric pump toothbrushes with toothpaste tube
A pump toothbrush having a toothpaste tube to dispense dentifrice material to top of bristle head is disclosed. The pump toothbrush has a pump head with a resilient button to create an internal vacuum force to draw the dentifrice material from the toothpaste tube. The toothpaste tube is supported by width-limiting fingers to prevent total collapsing of sidewalls resulting in blocking of its flow channel. A self-closing spout is used for preventing backflow. For a manual pump toothbrush the toothpaste tube has an oval-shaped shoulder for mating with the oval-shaped shoulder of a detachable handle for fastening the toothpaste tube by threads. For an electrical pump toothbrush, a detachable endcap connector is used for swinging out the toothpaste tube from its handle for replacement. A sonic vibration model uses rubber molding to minimize vibration on the handle. A dual-rotary model has two rotary bristle elements engaged by gear teeth.
Oral Care System and Method
An oral care system includes a toothbrush and a dispenser detachably coupled to the toothbrush. The dispenser includes a collapsible bladder containing an oral care material. A compression device assembly includes an actuator operably coupled to a compression device movably mounted inside the dispenser. In one embodiment, the compression device includes a feed slot that engages opposite sides of the collapsible bladder. Actuating the actuator translates the compression device in a first longitudinal direction extruding and dispensing the oral care material from the oral care product dispenser. The actuator may be slideably mounted to the dispenser in one embodiment. A ratcheting mechanism may be provided to provide indexed movement of the compression device, thereby dispensing predetermined doses of the oral care material with each indexed movement.
Oral Care System and Method
An oral care system includes a toothbrush and a dispenser detachably coupled to the toothbrush. The dispenser includes a chamber containing an oral care material. A compression device assembly includes an actuator operably coupled to a compression device movably mounted inside the dispenser. In one embodiment, the actuator may be a ratcheting rocker switch that alternatingly engages gear racks formed on the dispenser housing. Actuating the rocker switch imparts pivotable and indexed linear motion to the switch. This in turn axially translates the compression device in a first longitudinal direction thereby compressing and extruding the oral care material from the dispenser. The corresponding indexed movement of the compression device dispenses predetermined doses of the oral care material providing precise control over the amount of oral care material dispensed.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement including a body comprising a handle, a head at an end of the handle, and at least one fluid outlet, the head having at least one oral care element extending therefrom; a reservoir, in the body, for storing an oral care fluid; and a pump for pumping the oral care fluid from the reservoir towards the fluid outlet, wherein the pump comprises a first check valve downstream of the reservoir, and a second check valve downstream of the first check valve and upstream of the fluid outlet. One of the first and second check valves comprises a valve seat defining an opening through which the oral care fluid is flowable, a valve member separate from the valve seat and comprising a stopper movable linearly relative to the valve seat, and a resilient element separate from the valve member and biasing the stopper towards the valve seat.
NEW DENTAL BRUSH
A brush (200) for cleaning a periodontal pocket between a tooth and a gum of a user. The brush (200) comprises: a handle portion (205); an arm extending (210) from the handle portion; and a brush head (211) located at an end of the arm having a plurality of brush filaments (212) extending therefrom. The brush filaments (212) are configured to be inserted into a periodontal pocket. The brush (200) can be used to assist in the treatment of gum disease by enabling a user to precisely clean periodontal pockets. The brush (200) may be for self-use. Alternatively, the brush (200) may be used by a healthcare professional such as a dentist or hygienist to treat a patient or to demonstrate its use.
Oral Care Implement
An oral care implement comprises a handle having a container containing oral care fluid, A head includes tooth cleaning elements and a fluid outlet to output fluid into the vicinity thereof. A manually actuatable pump mechanism in the handle between the container and fluid outlet is connected thereto by respective first and second conduits. The pump mechanism comprises a chamber having an inlet connected to the first conduit, an outlet connected to the second conduit, and an actuatable valve mechanism for selectively opening the inlet and outlet respectively to cause fluid flow into and out of the chamber. The mechanism comprises first and second valve elements and a deformable actuator connected to the first and second valve elements. A wall which defines at least a part of the chamber is adapted to be manually moved to operate the valve mechanism.
A CONTAINER FOR A TOOL AND A TOOL WITH SUCH A CONTAINER
The invention relates to a container for a tool with a tool head. The tool head has conduits conducting liquid extending through the tool head. The container is attachable to the tool head. In use, the container is filled with liquid. The container comprises a tubular diaphragm held extended by at least one spacer element. The tubular diaphragm is in use at its lower end air tightly attached to the tool head. The membrane is easily compacted into an element that takes up a small storage volume, but is still able to remain outstretched into a container due to the spacer element, even when subjected to external fluid pressure.
The spacer element comprises filler openings. The tool has a shaft and the spacer element has a tool connection surrounding the tool shaft. In this manner, the container is guided up and down the shaft as the container is erected and contracted.
