20190133310 · 2019-05-09 ·

An improved system and method for loading paint continuously to a paintbrush is described herein. A substantially cylindrical container can comprise a first orifice, a second orifice, a void, a plunger, a rod, a biasing device, and a paint-dispenser. The first orifice at a front end of the container. The second orifice at a back end of the container. The void that can be within the container can be fillable with the paint. The rod can be slidably mounted within the second orifice and the ring. The biasing device can be positionable into expanded state, and extracted state. Further, wherein the biasing device can move relatively to the amount of paint that can placed within the void. The paint-dispenser can be connectable with the container through a hose, the paint dispenser can comprise a button. The button once actuated can be capable of releasing the paint to a paintbrush bristles.

Oral care implements and methods of manufacturing the same

An oral care implement having a body comprising a handle, a head having at least one oral care element extending therefrom, and at least one fluid outlet; a reservoir in the body and for storing an oral care fluid; and a pump in the body for pumping the oral care fluid from the reservoir towards the fluid outlet, wherein the pump is an umbrella check valve circumferentially surrounding a duckbill check valve. Alternatively, the invention is a method of manufacturing an oral care implement, including the steps of providing a body comprising a base having first and second holes extending therethrough; and fitting to the body a unitary component comprising first and second valves at a position at which the first valve blocks the first hole and the second valve blocks the second hole, wherein the first valve is an umbrella check valve that circumferentially surrounds the second valve.

Tooth cleaning devices for portable, discrete use to improve dental hygiene as well as cosmetic appearance of teeth and processes for using same. The devices enable discrete cleaning of teeth after drinking dark-colored beverages or after eating food in social settings when conventional teeth cleaning devices are unavailable or inconvenient. In particular, these devices are designed for multiple uses, so that the same device may be used for teeth cleaning on multiple occasions.

Brush with Fluid Delivery

A toothbrush includes a handle, a head at a distal end of the handle comprising a bristle plate, a hole extending through the bristle plate, a plurality of bristles at least partially disposed in the hole and extending from the hole in a direction away from the head, and a reservoir in fluid communication with the hole. Fluid in the reservoir enters the tuft holes and is wicked out of the head of the toothbrushes by capillaries formed between the bristles.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement having a body comprising a handle and a head, the body having a cavity, and the head having at least one oral care element extending therefrom; a movable wall in the cavity that divides the cavity into first and second reservoirs, the first reservoir for storing an oral care fluid; a fluid outlet through which the oral care fluid is dispensable to an exterior of the oral care implement; a passageway fluidly connecting the first reservoir with the fluid outlet; a control valve movable between a first position and a second position for preventing and permitting fluid flow from the first reservoir, respectively; a first opening fluidly connecting the second reservoir with the exterior of the oral care implement; and a first check valve for permitting and restricting air flow into and out of the second reservoir from the exterior.

Oral care implement

An oral care implement including a body comprising a handle, a head at an end of the handle, and at least one fluid outlet, the head having at least one oral care element extending therefrom; a reservoir, in the body, for storing an oral care fluid; and a pump for pumping the oral care fluid from the reservoir towards the fluid outlet, wherein the pump comprises a first check valve downstream of the reservoir, and a second check valve downstream of the first check valve and upstream of the fluid outlet. One of the first and second check valves comprises a valve seat defining an opening through which the oral care fluid is flowable, a valve member separate from the valve seat and comprising a stopper movable linearly relative to the valve seat, and a resilient element separate from the valve member and biasing the stopper towards the valve seat.

PAINT BRUSH AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

A paint brush and method include a ferrule extending around and in contact with a plurality of bristles and a spacer apparatus positioned to space apart the plurality of bristles to provide at least one reservoir within the plurality of bristles. The spacer apparatus defines at least one opening extending through the spacer apparatus that allows fluid passage therethrough to the at least one reservoir to assist in removal of paint from the plurality of bristles when fluid is provided therein.
