Smokeless cigarette substitute product
A method and device are provided for volatilizing active and/or aroma materials for releasing an inhalable aerosol, wherein a fluid flows through a flow channel in a preferably cylindrical hollow body, wherein the fluid in the flow channel entirely or in part flows through at least one vaporizer membrane in a fluid stream, wherein the at least one vaporizer membrane has been and/or is wetted with a substance containing an active and/or aroma material to be vaporized, and wherein the fluid additionally contains thermal energy and vaporizes the substance on flowing through the vaporizer membrane and supplies the vaporized substance to the fluid stream.
SMOKING ARTICLE COMPRISING AEROGEL
A smoking article is provided that includes an aerogel, which can be optionally impregnated with a catalytic metal compound or can optionally be coated with at least one aerosol-forming material and a flavoring agent. The smoking article comprises various segments such as a heat generation segment, an aerosol-generation segment, and a mouth end. The aerogel can be placed near or within any of these segments.
The presence of the aerogel can reduce the concentration of certain gaseous components of mainstream smoke generated during use of a smoking article incorporating a heat generation segment containing a fuel element.
Elongate heater for an electrically heated aerosol-generating system
An electrically heated aerosol-generating system for receiving an aerosol-forming substrate includes a heating element including a first electrically conductive element electrically insulated from a second electrically conductive element by an electrically insulating portion. The first and second elements are elongate and are electrically connected to each other by an electrically resistive portion. At least one electrically conductive element and the electrically resistive portion are arranged such that they are at least partially in contact with the aerosol-forming substrate.
ARTICLE FOR USE IN A NON-COMBUSTIBLE AEROSOL PROVISION SYSTEM
An article for use in a non-combustible aerosol provision system is described. The article includes an aerosol generating material and a mouthpiece connected to the aerosol generating material, the mouthpiece including a first body of material, and a second body of material downstream of the first body. The second body is offset from the first body so as to define a cavity between the first body and the second body. A breakable capsule is disposed in the cavity, and a diameter of the capsule can be less than the length of the cavity and the diameter of the cavity can be greater than the length of the cavity. A method of manufacturing an article is also described.

METHOD OF MAKING VAPOR-GENERATING ARTICLE INCLUDING RETENTION MEDIUM AND FRANGIBLE CAPSULE
The method includes defining a cavity within a housing of a vapor-generating article, the vapor-generating article having a first end, a second end and a middle section, first inserting at least one portion of a retention medium within the housing between the first end and the middle section, and second inserting a first frangible capsule to be near or at least partially within the retention medium, the first frangible capsule including a first volatile substrate.
MOUTHPIECE FOR AEROSOL-GENERATING DEVICE WITH WOVEN FIBER LINER
The invention relates to a mouthpiece (10) for an aerosol-generating device. The mouthpiece (10) comprises an inlet portion (12) configured for receiving an aerosol and an outlet portion (14) configured for outflow of the aerosol. An airflow path (16) connects the inlet portion (12) and the outlet portion (14). The airflow path (16) comprises an inner wall (18). The inner wall (18) of the airflow path (16) is at least partially lined with a capillary material (20). The capillarity of the capillary material (20) increases towards the inlet portion (12).
