SMART TOOTHBRUSH-BASED TOOTH-BRUSHING EVALUATION METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A smart toothbrush-based tooth-brushing evaluation method, apparatus, terminal device and storage medium are provided. The evaluation method comprises: real-time acquiring toothbrushing data detected by a data detecting device in a smart toothbrush; analyzing the toothbrushing data and performing statistics for each brushed tooth surfaces to obtain a brushing time and a number of times of a high-amplitude brushing-with a brushing amplitude greater than a first threshold, a number of times of a strong brushing with a brushing force greater than a second threshold and of a number of times of a horizontal brushing; determining a number of overtime-brushed tooth surfaces brushed for more than a standard brushing time, a number of times of tooth surfaces brushed at a high amplitude, a number of times of strongly-brushed tooth surfaces and a number of times of horizontally-brushed tooth surfaces according to the brushing time.
METHODS FOR AUTOMATED TOOTH BRUSHING
The present invention describes a method for a U-shaped teeth brush device having a conformable shape adjusting U-shaped teethbrush module and one or more individual tooth brushes coupled to the power drive mechanism, each brush having a sensor, piezoelectric crystal and transducer and each tooth brush having a block anchor coupled to the power drive, under smart controls, an electronic control system for sensing individual tooth pressure and controlling motor transmission of vibration to prior positioned brushes, whereby a users unique mouth features can be accounted for by adjusting U-shape distal ends to fit through the users mouth and align with users teeth arch for programmatically brushing more than one tooth simultaneously.
Oral Hygiene Systems and Methods
A method for promoting compliance with an oral hygiene regimen includes displaying, on a display device, a representation of at least a portion of a set of teeth of a user. The method also includes overlaying an indicium on the representation such that the indicium is associated with a first section of the representation. Responsive to a determination, via at least one of one or more processors, that a head of an oral hygiene device is positioned directly adjacent to a first section of the set of teeth that corresponds to the first section of the representation for at least a predetermined amount of time, the indicium is removed from the display device.

In an exemplary embodiment, motion information of an oral hygiene device is received from one or more accelerometers (32) located within the oral hygiene device. The received motion information is compared to a targeted motion of the oral hygiene device. The user operating the oral hygiene device is then provided with feedback in response to determining that the received motion information is within a predefined range of the targeted motion information.
Oral Care System and Method
An oral care system including a toothbrush having a sensor that generates brushing data during a brushing session and a programmable processor. The programmable processor may be configured to receive the brushing data from the sensor, receive oral characteristic data indicative of an oral characteristic of the user, and determine at least one of a suggested brushing routine and a brushing evaluation for a brushing session based at least in part on the oral characteristic data and the brushing data. The oral characteristic may be present in or adjacent to a first portion of the dentiture. The brushing evaluation or brushing routine may be based on or includes at least one of: an altered target brushing time for the first portion of the dentiture; and a modified brushing motion expectation for the first portion of the dentiture.

A system for tracking and storing data associated with a personal care routine, the system including: a personal care implement having a section at least partially made from a magnetic and/or ferromagnetic material, and a magnetic guide to which the personal care implement is magnetically attachable and detachable, wherein the magnetic guide includes a guidance tool, the guidance tool being activated to track and store data by detaching the personal care implement from the magnetic guide.
