ORAL CARE SYSTEM, IMPLEMENT, AND/OR KIT

An oral care device having a head with cleaning elements and a handle coupled to the head. The handle may include a selectively rotatable ring arranged between the head and a distal end of the handle that is configured to allow a user to select a desired mode of operation of the oral care device. The handle may include a selectively illuminated light that is configured to display at least one color that visually indicates that certain behaviors, patterns, and/or consistent habits have been performed successfully. The handle may include a processor configured to track a duration of a user's brushing session, a light ring on a bottom surface of the handle, and a pressure sensor. Respective portions of the light ring may be selectively illuminated by the processor to visualize progress toward achieving a predetermined brushing routine time and/or to visualize an over-pressure condition sensed by the pressure sensor.

An electric toothbrush and a control method thereof includes a brush head, a brush handle, a motor, a pressure responding unit, and a control unit. The motor is disposed in the brush handle, a driving shaft of the motor penetrates through the brush handle and is connected with the brush head for driving. The pressure responding unit is disposed in the brush handle, and the pressure responding unit is configured to acquire a force of the brush head. The control unit is disposed in the brush handle, and the control unit is electrically connected with the pressure responding unit and the motor.

UNIVERSAL BASE FOR ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH

A universal base for an electric toothbrush has a body comprising a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface therebetween. The base can be coupled with the toothbrush for wireless communication therebetween. The base includes a charging component for inductively charging the electric toothbrush, a Bluetooth component for communicating usage data received from the toothbrush during a brushing session, an analyzing component for instantaneous processing of the usage data received from the toothbrush, a timer-clock component for displaying either a count-up or a countdown of the brushing session during the brushing session and time of day before and after the brushing session, and a multi-functional light component for instantaneously communicating, during the brushing session, at least one element of the usage data.

SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING A SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE

A skin treatment device provides feedback to a user relating to the force or pressure they are applying. In addition to the feedback provided for indicating that the pressure is too high, correct, or too low, there is a further feedback type when the force or pressure is below a lowest threshold value, indicating that there is no contact between the skin and the device. Providing the same feedback information when the user is applying a too low pressure as when the user has deliberately released the device from contact with the skin is thereby avoided.

Short Wavelength Visible Light-Emitting Toothbrush With An Electronic Signal Interlock Control

A toothbrush having one or more light sources with an electronic interlock control device preventing operation of the light source when the toothbrush is removed from the user's mouth. The electronic interlock control over operation is necessary to prevent accidental eye exposure to the high intensity light source with a wavelength in the range of about 400 nm to about 1000 nm. The light-emitting toothbrush activates upon entering the user's mouth but deactivates immediately when removed, thus protecting the user's eyes from direct exposure to the high power light source contained in the brush head.

LIGHT EMITTING OSCILLATING TOOTHBRUSH

An electric toothbrush includes a handle with a motor and a light source located in a proximal end. A brush head is in a distal end of the toothbrush, and a drive shaft conveys kinetic energy from the motor to the brush head. The drive shaft includes a light guide from the light source to the distal end and contains two layers of an optical medium of differing refractive indices to enable TIR within the light guide. The brush has a tuft plate having bristles and is made of a polymer such that the water contact angle of the tuft plate is less than 90 degrees and is at least partially transparent. The handle and the tuft plate have electrical contacts to make a contact sensor and a movement sensor provides movement data. A computing device processes movement and contact data to determine when to activate the light.

TOOTHBRUSH SYSTEM WITH SENSORS FOR A DENTAL HYGIENE MONITORING SYSTEM
20220232964 · 2022-07-28 ·

Tooth brushing monitoring system is disclosed that includes a toothbrush with sensors and a base station. The sensors record data regarding the quality, quantity and location of brushing and the system can analyze the data to provide feedback on the quality of brushing. This feedback provides motivation for users to increase their brushing habits, leading to a decrease in plaque, tooth decay and gingivitis

Automatic Suction Cleaning Structure and Cleaner
20220211167 · 2022-07-07 ·

An automatic suction cleaning structure is disclosed. The automatic suction cleaning structure is disposed on a cleaner body. The automatic suction cleaning structure comprises a fixing base (1) connected to the cleaner body and a number of brush heads (2) arranged on the fixing base (1). The brush heads (2) are made of silica gel, and are of a hexagon shape and a hollow structure. The number of brush heads (2) are arranged on the fixing base (1) in an array and distributed in a cellular arrangement. By arranging the cellular brush heads (2) of a hollow structure and utilizing a suction force produced by the tightly-attached brush heads (2) during use, dirt on the skin surface is sucked automatically by means of a sucking disc principle in a process of contact with the skin, to allow more thorough cleaning. A cleaner is also provided.

TOOTHBRUSH SYSTEM
