VEHICLE SAFETY DEVICE FOR ENGINE SHUT-OFF AND EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
A vehicle safety device for detecting vehicle tilt automatically shuts-off power to an ignition system and fuel pump and summons emergency assistance using a bistable switch circuit that toggles between a first bistable switch position in response to a reset signal and a second bistable switch position in response to an alert signal. The safety device can remain in the bistable switch positions without a power source and employ an encrypted bi-directional protocol to summon emergency assistance and generate the reset signal without vehicle operator intervention.

Laser level checking
A laser receiving arrangement, co-operable with a reference plane defined by a laser transmitter, including a data storage device, a sensing arrangement, a logic arrangement and a user interface. The data storage device stores a respective desired elevation for each of a plurality of target points. The sensing arrangement senses the reference plane and produces an output indicative of an elevation of a selected target point relative to the reference plane. The logic arrangement is configured to receive from the data storage device the respective desired elevation of the selected target point, receive the output of the sensing arrangement, and produce an output based on at least the received elevation and the received output. The user interface is configured to produce an output interpretable by a user, based on the output of the logic arrangement and indicative of a deviation of the target point from its respective desired elevation.

SUPPORT FOR A TRIPOD
A head for supporting an imaging device and being supported by a tripod.
Outdoor Flag Holder with Lighting
A case for a flag that opens to form a base for the flag. The case is for an indoor/outdoor lighted stand in a box-like configuration that when opened provides a surface to securely hold poles that are two inches in diameter or smaller and twelve feet or less in overall height.
Magnet Mounting and Retention System for Tool
A tool, such as a level, with magnets embedded in a working surface is provided. For example, the magnets assist in coupling the level to magnetic workpieces. The magnets are placed in a chamber with a floor having a periphery and internal walls extending from the floor periphery. Flanges extend from internal wall of the chamber toward a central axis or point and partially further define the chamber volume. Flanges may be created by depressing surface of the level near the chamber, thus deforming the level body surface to create a channel and a flange from the material displaced from the channel.
Tools, systems, and methods for locating hidden studs and identifying angles on a finished wall
A tool, system, and method are disclosed for locating a hidden stud and identifying angles on a finished wall. The tool includes an elongated housing, at least one magnet, and at least one level. The housing has a generally planar contact surface disposed opposite a viewing surface. The at least one magnet is secured to the housing such that a magnetic field from the at least one magnet extends from the contact surface. The level is secured to the housing such that the level is viewable from the viewing surface. The at least one magnet, the level, and the housing are sized relative to each other such that a magnetic attraction between the at least one magnet and a metallic element in the wall is sufficient to maintain the tool on the wall without external support.

LASER RECEIVER AND TARGET WITH LIGHTED INDICATORS
A movable accessory for an automatic point layout system includes a laser receiver, target screen, and an array of LEDs. A laser controller aims a vertical laser light plane toward any desired point on the jobsite. The user moves the accessory into the laser light plane, thereby impacting a photosensor on the laser receiver. The accessory's electronic controller translates that laser light impact and illuminates a corresponding LED. The illuminated LED indicates the desired point of interest on the jobsite floor for the user to mark. An electronic distance measuring instrument (an LDM) aims along the same laser plane, and the target screen reflects the LDM signal to provide a distance reading, which is sent to a remote controller operated by the user. Alternatively, the LED array indicates where the laser plane strikes the photosensor, allowing the user to quickly move the accessory to the null position of the photosensor.
