Oral care device
An oral care device may include: a body including a head; a plurality of teeth cleaning elements extending from the head; a first sacrificial electrode on the head; a second sacrificial electrode on the head and spaced apart from the first sacrificial electrode; a power source; and a controller configured to alternate between an ON state and an OFF state, wherein: in the ON state the controller operably couples the power source to the first and second sacrificial electrodes to create an electric potential between the first sacrificial electrode and the second sacrificial electrode, the electric potential having one of a first polarity and a second polarity, and for each successive transition from the OFF state to the ON state, the controller is configured to alternate between the first polarity and the second polarity.
Powered oral care implement
An oral care implement including a handle and an oral care refill head. The handle has a gripping portion, an engagement component coupled to a distal end of the gripping portion, and a stem. The engagement component includes a plate portion and a first engagement feature. The stem extends through an opening in the engagement component and protrudes from the plate portion. The oral care refill head includes an oral care treatment portion and a sleeve portion. The sleeve portion has an inner surface that defines a sleeve cavity having a cavity axis and a second engagement feature. When the oral care refill head is detachably coupled to the handle, the first and second engagement features mate with one another to at least one of: (1) position the oral care refill head and the handle in an operational alignment; and (2) lock the oral care refill head to the handle.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING WELDS
A device for cleaning welds. The device comprises a bristles pad, the bristles pad being electrically conductive to deliver electrical current to a weld to be cleaned when the bristles pad is in physical contact with the weld. The device further includes a bristles pad support, the bristles pad support including an elongated body receiving the bristles pad and extending along the bristles pad, the elongated body including a first section and a second section attached to each other, the first section being separable from the second section to reduce a length of the bristles pad support.
ELECTRONIC SUBASSEMBLY FOR A PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT
An electronic subassembly for a personal care product with a housing defining a chamber. The housing has a tapered guide surface. A first circuit board having a rigid end is positioned within the chamber and a flexible portion positioned outside the chamber. A second circuit board is positioned within the chamber of the housing. The second circuit board has an electrical connector dimensioned to receive the rigid end. An adapter is secured to the first circuit board between the rigid end and the flexible portion. The adapter has a corresponding tapered guide surface that engages the tapered guide surface of the housing to align the rigid end with the electrical connector.
HAIR CARE DEVICE
A voltage supply unit in a hair care device includes a voltage supply member which has an exposed surface exposed to the outside and is attached to a housing, and a first conductive section that is electrically connected to the voltage supply member. Furthermore, the voltage supply member has a visible light transmission section having visible light transparency, the visible light transmission section having a second conductive section electrically connected to the first conductive section. In addition, the second conductive section has a contact surface contacted by supply object U, and at least a portion of the exposed surface serves as the contact surface. Furthermore, a shield section that overlaps an entirety of the exposed surface and does not transmit visible light is provided inward of the exposed surface.
PORTABLE HAIR AND SCALP TREATMENT DEVICE WITH CONDUCTIVE BRISTLES
Brush portions are configured for use with a handheld device. The brush portion includes at least one bristle disposed on a bristle base, the bristle having an elongate first electrode, an elongate second electrode abutting the first electrode, and an insulator disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are electrically connectable to a first voltage source and a second voltage source of the device, respectively.
SKIN STIMULATION BRUSH
In the related art, bristles that allow a current to flow to skin are exposed on a surface. Thus, there is a problem in that the bristles may swell and degrade due to a drug such as a hairdressing product or sweat and thus electroconductivity is lowered with use. Each of skin stimulation brush pins (10) of a skin stimulation brush (1) according to the present invention includes: a base bottom member (20) made of a metal, which is able to be connected to the electric circuit (6) so as to allow conduction of electricity from the electric circuit (6); a body member (30) being an elongated tubular body, which has a proximal end portion at which the base bottom member is disposed; an electrode member (50), which is connected to an opening of the body member on a distal end side, and has a distal end being exposed; and a metal shaft (40) inserted into a tubular inner portion of the body member, which is configured to couple the base bottom member and the electrode member.
Brush with Fluid Delivery
A toothbrush includes a handle, a head at a distal end of the handle comprising a bristle plate, a hole extending through the bristle plate, a plurality of bristles at least partially disposed in the hole and extending from the hole in a direction away from the head, and a reservoir in fluid communication with the hole. Fluid in the reservoir enters the tuft holes and is wicked out of the head of the toothbrushes by capillaries formed between the bristles.
Oral Care Process
An oral care process which includes initiating a first operational sequence which includes generating an electric potential between a first sacrificial electrode and a second sacrificial electrode, the electric potential in the first operational sequence beginning with one of a first polarity and a second polarity, stopping the first operational sequence, and commencing a second operational sequence which includes generating the electric potential between the first sacrificial electrode and the second sacrificial electrode. The electric potential in the second operational sequence may begin with the other of the first polarity and the second polarity. The electric potential may be alternated between the first polarity and the second polarity at predetermined intervals during at least one of the first operational sequence and the second operational sequence.
ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH WITH CONDUCTIVE BRISTLES
This invention relates to an electric toothbrush including: a toothbrush head having a plurality of conductive bristles and at least one electrode supplied with a driving signal; a handle part connected to the toothbrush head and having a user-grippable shape; a battery disposed inside the handle part; and a signal supply located inside the handle part and configured to receive a voltage from the battery to generate an AC signal and a DC signal, and to generate the driving signal comprising a mixture of the AC signal and the DC signal to supply the electrode.
