The hairbrush comprises a plurality of heating elements protruding from a face of the brush, the heating elements defining a hair treating area. The hairbrush further comprises a plurality of self-adjustable spacers projecting from at least some of the heating elements and configured for axial displacement relative to said at least some heating elements between a projecting position and a retracted position, wherein at the retracted position the at least some spacers are partially retracted into respective heating element maintaining a space between a tip of the heating elements and the scalp, and wherein the spacers are self-adjusting to the contour of a users' scalp.
HEATED HAIR STRAIGHTENING BRUSH AND HEATED HAIR STRAIGHTENING DRYER BRUSH
The present invention relates to a heated hair straightening brush (a “heated straightening brush”) as well as a heated hair straightening brush that also dries hair (a “heated straightening dryer brush”). As one non-limiting example, the invention relates to a heated straightening brush and/or a heated straightening dryer brush that has a slightly curved front to the brush head, which is heated, and where the exposed edges on the sides of the brush head, also heated, are curved to help style the hair. As an alternative non-limiting embodiment, the invention relates to a heated straightening brush and/or a heated straightening dryer brush having a curved front and curved sides of the brush head where the density of bristles and tufts on the sides of the brush head is less than the density of the bristles or tufts on the front of the brush head. As a further non-limiting embodiment, the invention relates to a heated straightening brush and/or a heated straightening dryer brush having a curved front and curved sides of the brush head where the brush head is textured and/or coated in whole or in part, including but not limited to having coating in the shape of strips and/or channels at any location on the brush head. The invention also includes, but is not limited to, a heated straightening brush and/or the heated straightening dryer brush having a curved front and curved sides and further having a handle that is detachable from the brush head. The invention further relates to the brush head for a heated hair straightening brush and/or a heated straightening dryer brush where the front and both sides of the brush head are curved and heated and at least a portion of the brush head has a texture or a coating.
BEAUTY TOOL HEAD WITH FLEXIBLE BRISTLE BASE
A beauty tool includes a handle portion configured to house an associated heating assembly and a bristle portion connected to the handle portion. The bristle portion includes a primary heating element configured to be heated by the associated heating assembly. A bristle base heated member is mounted to an outer periphery of the heating element. The bristle base heated member has a secondary heating element configured to be heated by the primary heating element. A non-conductive, heat insulating bristle spacer is secured between the bristle base heated member and the heating element. A bristle bar is secured by the bristle spacer and has bristles extending through the bristle spacer and the bristle base heated member. The bristle spacer is configured to thermally isolate the bristle bar from both the heating element and the bristle base heated member.
HAIRSTYLING BRUSH
A brush that delivers a flow of air to an individual's head while she brushes her hair with the brush includes a handle and a head, or barrel, with a styling surface from which bristles protrude. Air is delivered to the hair through apertures in the styling surface. Air flow is generated by a fan and its motor, which reside within the head of the brush. With the fan and the motor in the head of the brush, a maximum dimension across the handle (e.g., its diameter, etc.) may be small enough for an individual with smaller hands to hold and manipulate the brush.
