SENSOR MODULE AND CASE UNIT
A sensor module according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a sensor element, a first case, a second case, and an intermediate layer. The first case includes an opening end and accommodates therein the sensor element. The second case includes a joining surface welded to the opening end. The intermediate layer is reflective of light, and is formed along an outer peripheral edge of a region, in the opening end, in which the opening end faces the joining surface.
Actuator assembly having rotary sensor responsive to rotation of magnet
An actuator assembly comprises: a rotatable shaft, a magnet mounted to the rotatable shaft, non-magnet material positioned between the magnet and the shaft, a rotary sensor configured to be responsive to rotation of the magnet for generating a signal, and a housing comprising a magnetic shield surrounding at least a part of the rotary sensor and at least a part of the magnet mounted to the shaft to shield the sensor and the magnet from an external magnetic field. The actuator assembly further comprises a magnet holder fixing the magnet to the shaft. The magnetic shield encompasses the magnetic flux from the magnet to the rotary sensor and also shields the rotary sensor from any external magnetic field such as stray field or magnetic field from the outside of the housing. The non-magnetic material may reduce leakage magnetic flux from the magnet to the shaft.
DUST-PROOF SENSING DEVICE
A dust-proof sensing device includes a mechanical body, a feeding path, a first photoelectric sensor disposed above the feeding path, a second photoelectric sensor disposed under the feeding path, and an upper bracket. The mechanical body has a feeding path. The upper bracket is mounted above the feeding path. The upper bracket has an upper fastening portion fastened to the mechanical body, an upper wedging portion fastened at the upper fastening portion, an L-shaped upper light guiding holder fastened at the upper fastening portion, and a first light guider fastened at the upper light guiding holder. The upper fastening portion has a first inclined section. An inner edge of an upper surface of the first inclined section is intersected with a top edge of an inner surface of the upper wedging portion to form a clamping angle.
Smoke detector housing and surface mount
A smoke detector includes detector mount that can define a cavity into which air can flow to a detector component of a detector body engaged with the detector mount. The detector mount can include a base, e.g., that defines a cavity into which air can flow and/or into which a portion of the detector body can extend, and an intermediate component that can removably engage with both the base and the detector body so the base is engaged with the detector body via the intermediate component. The intermediate component can include fins or other features to direct air flow in the cavity to one or more portions of the detector body.
Shaft-integrated angle sensing device
A sensor arrangement, including: a rotatable driving shaft extending along a rotation axis and comprising a bore extending from a first end face of the shaft along the rotation axis; a substantially ring-shaped magnet arranged within the bore and coupled to the driving shaft, the magnet configured to generate a magnetic field within the bore; and a sensor configured to sense a rotation of the magnetic field in response to rotation of the driving shaft.
COMPOSITE MOLDED COMPONENT
The object of the present invention is to further improve the performance of a seal between an inner molded portion and an outer molded portion. A composite molded component includes: an internal component; an inner molded portion that covers the internal component; and an outer molded portion that covers the inner molded portion. A hole that reaches the inner molded portion is formed in the outer molded portion. A ring-shaped seal portion that surrounds the hole is provided between the inner molded portion and the outer molded portion. The ring-shaped seal portion is formed of a softer material than the inner molded portion.
Multifunctional environmental sensor device
A multifunctional environmental sensor device is connectable to a terminal of an electronic device for use. The sensor device includes a substrate, a plurality of different types of components mounted on the substrate and including at least a light emitter and an illuminance sensor, and a wiring pattern located on a surface of the substrate and including a contact to be in contact with the terminal of the electronic device. The light emitter is mounted on a surface of the substrate opposite to a surface of the substrate on which the illuminance sensor is mounted.
Sensor assemblies and methods of making sensor assemblies
A sensor assembly includes a mounting portion arranged to support a sensing device, a thermal shunt portion extending from the mounting portion, and a housing portion. The housing portion extends from the thermal shunt portion and is arranged on a side of the thermal shunt portion opposite the mounting portion to limit temperature of a sensor connector fixed to the housing portion of the sensor assembly. Gas turbine engines having sensor assemblies and methods of making sensor assemblies are also described.
Housing for flexible fuel sensor and method of use
A housing for a flexible fuel sensor and method of use is disclosed. The housing comprises of a first chamber, a second chamber, and bypass passageway extending therebetween. The first chamber is configured to receive and hold the first conduit of the flexible fuel sensor. The second chamber is configured to receive and hold the second conduit of the flexible fuel sensor. The bypass passageway is configured to permit fuel to flow therethrough and thereout.
Rotary encoder shaft clamp
An encoder includes a rotatable encoder disc. A clamp is fixed to the encoder disc to rotate therewith. The clamp includes an arcuately extending body presenting a radially inner face and arcuately spaced apart ends defining a gap therebetween. The inner face extends along a clamping path and engages a rotating component to secure the clamp to the rotating component to rotate therewith. The clamp includes an adjustment mechanism for modifying an arcuate extent of the gap by shifting the ends relative to one another and, in turn, modifying the clamping path. The body defines a radially extending cutout facilitating bending of the body in association with expansion or contraction of the gap and modification of the clamping path. The clamp includes a raised boss extending from a front face thereof. The boss presents a contact face spaced axially from the front face and fixedly engaging the encoder disc.
