Reconfigurable indicating device

A pointer is rotational relative to a screen. A driver unit is equipped with the pointer and configured to rotate the pointer. A controller sends an output signal to the driver unit to rotate the pointer at a rotational position in a rotational range. The controller is configured to modify the rotational range. The controller is configured to modify the graphic according to the rotational range, which is modified.

IC tag unit for instrument, and instrument with IC tag

An IC tag unit, for an instrument, which allows an IC tag into and from which instrument information, calibration information, inspection information, and the like can be written and read to be mounted to an instrument without affecting the IC tag by a metal portion of an instrument body, hindering visibility of a scale of the instrument, and further causing degradation due to dust, raindrops, or the like, and an instrument with the IC tag, are provided. An IC tag 11 having an IC chip 12 and an antenna 13, and mounting means configured to mount the IC tag to an instrument, are provided, and the instrument has scale increments and a pointer, and a transparent cover plate 53 that covers the scale increments 56a and the pointer. The mounting means includes: a first sheet disposed on an outer side surface of the instrument; a second sheet that is disposed on an inner side surface of the instrument and that sandwiches the IC tag; and an attachment layer that allows both the sheets attached to each other to be attached to the transparent cover plate. The IC tag is disposed between both the sheets so as not to overlap the scale increments 56a and an indicator portion 55a of the pointer 55 in a viewing direction, and a developed plane of the antenna is arranged along both the sheets, when the IC tag is mounted to the transparent cover plate.

COMPOSITE NORMALIZED ANGLE OF ATTACK INDICATING SYSTEM
20170106994 · 2017-04-20 ·

A composite normalized angle of attack indicating system provides a simultaneous display of both body angle of attack, such as in digital form, and normalized angle of attack for an aircraft. The display may be visually enhanced as stall is approached such as by zooming the body angle of attack digital display and/or by changing the color of the display. The normalized display also selectively displays an approach reference band when the flap setting is equal to or greater than 20 degrees.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZATION OF PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL ELEMENTS OF AN ANALOG/DIGITAL INSTRUMENT OF A VEHICLE

A synchronization system for synchronization of at least one physical element and at least one digital element of an analog/digital instrument of a vehicle is described, which envisages: a first driving sub-system, for driving the digital element and including a first digital processing unit operatively coupled to the digital element; a second driving sub-system, for driving the physical element and including a second digital processing unit operatively coupled to the physical element. The first and second digital processing units of the first and second driving sub-systems implement a synchronization algorithm to determine a synchronism between an operation of the first driving sub-system and a corresponding operation of the second driving sub-system, said synchronization algorithm including operations that are independent of the use of a common reference clock and are based on a set of predefined signals exchanged between the first and second digital processing units.
