Fastenable device for oral cavity position detection
The present invention provides for a fastenable device for oral area position detection that is fastenable to oral care implements.
TOOTHPASTE DISPENSING TOOTHBRUSH
A toothpaste dispensing toothbrush has a longitudinal, hollow, cylindrical housing, an open distal end, and an open proximal end. The distal end is tapered to a blunt, open extremity. The proximal end has a predetermined inside diameter. The cylindrical housing also has a transparent longitudinal window located along its outer surface. A toothbrush head is removably affixed to the distal end of the housing. A hollow, cylindrical toothbrush cartridge chamber has an open proximal end and an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the housing proximal end, to facilitate insertion of the cartridge chamber into the proximal end of the housing. A movable piston is disposed in the cartridge chamber and a slidable button is located on the housing and connected to the movable piston. A dome cap is removably affixed to the proximal end of the cartridge chamber to retain toothpaste introduced into it. A dental floss container can be removably attached to the toothbrush and an LED light can be added to illuminate areas of the mouth being brushed.
TOOTH CLEANING TOOL HAVING A FRONT END FOR ALTERNATIVELY AND RESPECTIVELY REPLACING A PLURALITY OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL AND DISPOSABLE TOOTH CLEANING HEADS
The present invention is to provide a tooth cleaning tool having a handle and at least one of a plurality of tooth cleaning heads, wherein the handle has two ends extending from a middle section thereof to form a first included angle ranging from 155 to 175 between the two ends, and a front end of the handle is protruded with a connector; and the tooth cleaning heads each has a cone shaped supporting rod and a cleaning component disposed at or adjacent to a tip end of the supporting rod and extending in a direction to form a second included angle ranging from 90 to 135 therebetween; and a connection receptacle is disposed at a base end of the supporting rod and configured to firmly join together with the connector such that the handle and tooth cleaning head can he coupled together for providing a specific tooth cleaning function.
DENTAL CLEANING TOOL WITH INTEGRATED SHIELD
A dental cleaning tool includes a body portion defining a longitudinal axis of the dental cleaning tool. The body portion includes a floss assembly including a first arm and a second arm extending substantially perpendicularly relative to the longitudinal axis, a receiving slot formed in the first arm, and a shield formed on the first arm. The shield is configured to cover the receiving slot such that access to the receiving slot is restricted from a first direction. The tool also includes a secondary cleaning tool coupled to the first arm. The secondary cleaning tool is pivotable relative to the first arm in at least two degrees of freedom such that the secondary cleaning tool is insertable into the receiving slot from a second direction different than the first direction.
Apparatus and method for classifying the motion of a movable treatment device
An apparatus for classifying the motion of a movable treatment device having at least one inertial sensor, a motion pattern classification device configured to discriminate between two or more motion classes contained in a set of motion classes of the movable treatment device, and an interface for providing inertial sensor data from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern classification device. The inertial sensor data represents a movement of the movable treatment device, wherein the motion pattern classification device comprises at least one neural network configured to receive and classify the inertial sensor data with respect to the motion classes contained, each associated with at least one class member selected based on the motion of the movable treatment device.
Complete oral care toothbrush systems
An oral care system includes a main body, and a brush manually movable between a stowed and a deployed position. The brush includes a head, and bristles having respective first ends attached to the head and distal ends together defining a bristle surface for tooth cleaning in use. A toothpaste dispensing apparatus is carried by the main body and is configured to place toothpaste directly onto the bristle surface defined by the distal ends of the bristles when the brush is in the stowed position. The dispensing apparatus is configured to place toothpaste directly onto the bristle surface defined by the distal ends of the bristles without saturating the bristles at their first ends attached to the head. The toothpaste dispensing apparatus includes a port through which toothpaste is dispensed, and the port aligns with the bristles when the brush is at the stowed position.
System for classifying the usage of a handheld consumer device
A system for classifying the usage of a handheld consumer device having a sensor and an analyzer. The sensor determines usage data at successive time instants and provides a temporally successive sequence of usage data during a usage session. The analyzer classifies the usage of the device with respect to at least one set usage classes and assembles a temporally successive sequence of input tuples of usage data relating to a predetermined time period of the usage session, each of the input tuples having at least one element representing the usage data at the respective time instant and for inputting the sequence of input tuples into at least one artificial neural network arranged to output at least one output tuple comprising a number of elements in accordance with the number of usage classes, each element of the output tuple representing a prediction value that the usage of the consumer device at the given time instant relates to a respective usage class.
REMOVABLE BRUSH HEAD FOR AN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
A removable toothbrush head for an electric toothbrush includes a bristle carrier and an elongated neck. One end portion of the elongated neck includes an opening for connection to an electric toothbrush handle, and another end portion comprises a neck hub configured to rotatably support the bristle carrier. Also included is a driven brush shaft disposed longitudinally within the elongated neck. The brush shaft is configured to interact with the bristle carrier at a distal end portion of the brush shaft, which includes a pivot extension extending therefrom and spaced apart from the longitudinal axis of the brush shaft, as well as a bristle carrier interface positioned at least partially along the longitudinal axis of the brush shaft and configured to cause partial rotational motion of the bristle carrier when the brush shaft is driven by an electric toothbrush handle.
Apparatus and method for performing a localization of a movable treatment device
A method and an apparatus for performing a localization of a movable treatment device having an inertial sensor and configured to treat a target surface. A motion pattern recognition device discriminates between two or more motion patterns contained in a set of motion patterns. An interface provides at least one inertial sensor data from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern recognition device. At least one inertial sensor data represents a movement of the movable treatment device. A neural network is configured to receive the at least one inertial sensor data and to map the at least one inertial sensor data to at least one motion pattern contained in the set of motion patterns associated with one or more different zones of the target surface so that the mapping of the at least one inertial sensor data with the at least one motion pattern indicates an estimation of the location of the device with respect to at least one zone of the target surface.
