TOOTH-CLEANING DEVICE CAPABLE OF STORING OR BEING OPERATIVELY MOUNTED WITH INTERDENTAL BRUSH
A tooth-cleaning device capable of storing or being operatively mounted with an interdental brush includes a floss-pick unit and an interdental-brush unit. The floss-pick unit is provided with a floss-holding portion and a first assembly portion at two opposite ends respectively. The first assembly portion is in communication with an accommodating space in the floss-pick unit. The interdental-brush unit is provided with a second assembly portion and a third assembly portion at two opposite ends respectively. The second assembly portion is protrudingly provided with a bristle section. When the first and second assembly portions are mounted together, the bristle section extends through the first assembly portion to be stored in the accommodating space. Once the first and third assembly portions are mounted together, the bristle section is exposed outside the floss-pick unit. The floss-pick function and interdental-brush function of the tooth-cleaning device can thus be conveniently used.
INTERPROXIMAL BRUSH FLOSS PICK
A combined flossing and interproximal brushing dental device, comprising: a handle having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the proximal end is configured to be held by a user; a first arm; a second arm; dental floss engaging members positioned at or towards a free end of the first arm and at or towards a free end of the second arm, wherein said first arm and said second arm are spaced apart on the handle and the dental floss engaging members are configured to hold dental floss, extending between the first arm and the second arm; and an interproximal brush forming all or a part of the first arm.
SYSTEM FOR CLASSIFYING THE USAGE OF A HANDHELD CONSUMER DEVICE
A system for classifying the usage of a handheld consumer device having a sensor and an analyzer. The sensor determines usage data at successive time instants and provides a temporally successive sequence of usage data during a usage session. The analyzer classifies the usage of the device with respect to at least one set usage classes and assembles a temporally successive sequence of input tuples of usage data relating to a predetermined time period of the usage session, each of the input tuples having at least one element representing the usage data at the respective time instant and for inputting the sequence of input tuples into at least one artificial neural network arranged to output at least one output tuple comprising a number of elements in accordance with the number of usage classes, each element of the output tuple representing a prediction value that the usage of the consumer device at the given time instant relates to a respective usage class.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLASSIFYING THE MOTION OF A MOVABLE TREATMENT DEVICE
An apparatus for classifying the motion of a movable treatment device having at least one inertial sensor, a motion pattern classification device configured to discriminate between two or more motion classes contained in a set of motion classes of the movable treatment device, and an interface for providing inertial sensor data from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern classification device. The inertial sensor data represents a movement of the movable treatment device, wherein the motion pattern classification device comprises at least one neural network configured to receive and classify the inertial sensor data with respect to the motion classes contained, each associated with at least one class member selected based on the motion of the movable treatment device.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING A LOCALIZATION OF A MOVABLE TREATMENT DEVICE
A method and an apparatus for performing a localization of a movable treatment device having an inertial sensor and configured to treat a target surface. A motion pattern recognition device discriminates between two or more motion patterns contained in a set of motion patterns. An interface provides at least one inertial sensor data from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern recognition device. At least one inertial sensor data represents a movement of the movable treatment device. A neural network is configured to receive the at least one inertial sensor data and to map the at least one inertial sensor data to at least one motion pattern contained in the set of motion patterns associated with one or more different zones of the target surface so that the mapping of the at least one inertial sensor data with the at least one motion pattern indicates an estimation of the location of the device with respect to at least one zone of the target surface.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING A LOCALIZATION OF A MOVABLE TREATMENT DEVICE
An apparatus for performing a localization of a movable treatment device having at least one inertial sensor and configured to treat the target surface. The apparatus has a motion pattern classification device configured to discriminate between two or more motion classes contained in a set of motion classes, and an interface for providing, from the inertial sensor to the motion pattern classification device, inertial sensor data representing a movement of the movable treatment device. The motion pattern classification device has a neural network configured to receive and classify inertial sensor data with respect to the motion classes associated with one or more different zones relating to the target surface so that the classification of inertial sensor data indicates an estimation of the location of the movable treatment device with respect to the one or more zones of the target surface.
TOOTHPASTE DISPENSING TOOTHBRUSH
A toothpaste dispensing toothbrush has a longitudinal, hollow, cylindrical housing, an open distal end, and an open proximal end. The distal end is tapered to a blunt, open extremity. The proximal end has a predetermined inside diameter. The cylindrical housing also has a transparent longitudinal window located along its outer surface. A toothbrush head is removably affixed to the distal end of the housing. A hollow, cylindrical toothbrush cartridge chamber has an open proximal end and an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the housing proximal end, to facilitate insertion of the cartridge chamber into the proximal end of the housing. A movable piston is disposed in the cartridge chamber and a slidable button is located on the housing and connected to the movable piston. A dome cap is removably affixed to the proximal end of the cartridge chamber to retain toothpaste introduced into it. A dental floss container can be removably attached to the toothbrush and an LED light can be added to illuminate areas of the mouth being brushed.
DENTAL CLEANING TOOL WITH HANDLE SHIELD
A dental cleaning tool includes a body portion defining a longitudinal axis of the dental cleaning tool. The body portion extends from a first end to a second end along the longitudinal axis. The body portion includes a floss assembly formed at the first end of the body portion, a toothpick member formed at the second end of the body portion, and a handle portion extending between the floss assembly and the toothpick member. The handle portion includes a receptacle. The tool further includes at least one secondary cleaning tool coupled to the body portion. The at least one secondary cleaning tool is rotatable relative to the body portion for selectively positioning the at least one secondary cleaning tool between a stowed position, within the receptacle, and a deployed position.
