Applicator for cosmetic product having an elongate general shape in a longitudinal direction, including a fixed part and a part movable in relation thereto. The movable part includes protrusions, at least one chain having a strand forming a succession of open loops, the chain extending substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the applicator. The fixed part includes at least two links, at least two of the open loops on each chain being passed through by a link of the fixed part. Thus, each chain of the movable part is fastened with at least one degree of freedom to the fixed part, enabling relative movement of the chain in relation to the fixed part longitudinally. This improves quality of the application of the product and gives the applicator a sensation of flexibility, even if the applicator is constituted by a rigid material. The applicator can be made by additive manufacturing.

A mascara brush having a tornado-shaped bristle includes a bristle and a core. A root of the bristle is provided on the core, and a free end of the bristle is provided away from the core. There is at least one bristle. A centerline of the bristle intersects with an axis of the core in a non-perpendicular manner. By providing an included angle between the centerline of the bristle and the axis of the core, the bristle is inserted between eyelashes more easily. As the bristle is not perpendicular to the axis of the core, a cross section of the whole mascara brush is reduced. While the length of the bristle remains the same, the opening of a mascara bottle is reduced. The new mascara brush has the advantages of better application effect, more compact structure and better ease of eyelash combing.

A bristle is provided. A first end of the bristle serves as a free end, and a second end of the bristle serves as a root. A cross section of the bristle is in a closed shape defined by at least two lines. Each of the lines is straight or curved. The bristle is twisted along a circumferential direction of its own axis. A mascara brush includes a core and at least one bristle. A root of the bristle is provided on the core, and a free end of the bristle is provided away from the core. A single row of bristles are spaced apart along an axis of the core, or multiple rows of bristles are spaced apart along the axis of the core and arranged radially along a circumferential direction of the core.

The present invention relates to a brush (10) for applying a product (P) to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, comprising: a core (40) that extends along a longitudinal axis X, and bristles (41) that extend from the core (40) along a portion of length L.sub.2, the ends of the bristles (41) defining an envelope surface, the envelope surface having at least one longitudinally extending cutout, the cutout having: a length L.sub.2 where L.sub.2≥L.sub.1/2, a width w, measured at the bottom of the cutout, that is constant along at least a portion of its length L.sub.2, and a distance d from the longitudinal axis X that varies along its length L.sub.2.

Brush (10) for application of a cosmetic product, particularly a hair coloring and/or care product, comprising: —a handle (12)—a product applicator (14) projecting from the handle (12), the applicator (14) comprising crimped fibers (40). The crimped fibers (40) are between 0.25 mm and 0.45 mm thick and the crimp wave length is between 2.0 mm and 4.0 mm.

A brush includes a wire core, a round tip formed on a distal end of the wire core, the round tip being unitary with the wire core section and being formed by melting or welding a portion of the wire core at the distal end, and a molded tip attached to the wire core at the distal end via a ball-and-socket connection.

A mascara applicator system in the form of tongs with flat tips in a variety of shapes, or a mascara applicator flat tips of a variety of shapes that can be added to tongs or rods. The flat tips contain polymer cushion, polymer cushion with protrusions, or mascara in the form of a crayon on the inner side. Mascara is squeezed from a tube onto the applicators with polymer cushion and polymer cushion with protrusions, while the applicator with the mascara crayon on it can be used directly.

An applicator for applying a cosmetic composition to the eyelashes or eyebrows including a core, at least one element attached to the core, each element including a central part fitted onto the core and at least one application member carried by the central part, this application member being hollow and comprising at least one cavity passing through it in one direction and having a closed or almost closed contour when viewed in this direction, and/or at least two adjacent application members forming at least one almost closed cavity between one another.

A mascara brush includes: a brush rod part having a brush formed in a certain pattern; a handle connected to the other end of the brush rod part; and a liquid container into which the brush rod part having the brush is inserted, wherein the brush rod part comprises: a brush rod having a certain length of a slot with a certain interval, and a brush including a certain pattern of filaments, wherein the certain pattern of filaments are inserted into and adhered to the slot.

An applicator for a cosmetic product including a fixed portion having an elongated shape along a longitudinal axis defining a longitudinal direction. The fixed portion is hollow, so that it includes an elongated cavity, and it includes holes connecting the cavity and an exterior area. The applicator includes a movable portion in relation to the fixed portion, the movable portion including an elongated central core in the longitudinal direction and disposed in the cavity formed by the fixed portion. The movable portion includes protuberances, each protuberance passing through a hole of the fixed portion so that it protrudes outside of said fixed portion. The configuration of the protuberances and of the holes makes it possible to move at least longitudinally the movable portion in relation to the fixed portion. The applicator may be obtained by additive manufacturing.
