A system for the application of mascara to both eyes using the dominant hand. The system has a container and an applicator. The applicator is used to transfer mascara from the container to the eyes. The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. The rod has at least one offset section. The rod is long enough to enable a person to position the brush head in front of the left eye from the right side of the head, or in front of the right eye from the left side of the head.
