A device for three-dimensionally printing a sleeve (10) for receiving a cosmetic applicator (20) is disclosed. The device includes a printer for printing in three dimensions. The printer is designed to receive a digital file and to print the sleeve. The device further includes a calculator capable of adapting the dimensions of the sleeve (10) to be printed to those of a user's finger. A method for three-dimensionally printing a sleeve (10) for receiving a cosmetic applicator (20) also is disclosed.

A cosmetic applicator (3) for applying a composition (P) to human keratinous fibers, notably eyelashes or eyebrows, is provided. A system for the application of mascara to both eyes using the dominant hand. The system has a container and an applicator. The applicator is used to transfer mascara from the container to the eyes. The applicator has a handle, a brush head and a rod. The handle progresses along an imaginary midline and supports the brush head in line with, or parallel to, the midline. The rod has at least one offset section. The rod is long enough to enable a person to position the brush head in front of the left eye from the right side of the head, or in front of the right eye from the left side of the head. The offset section of the rod prevents the applicator from blocking the vision from a near eye when applying mascara across the face to a far eye.

The present invention relates to an applicator for applying a cosmetic product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, having an applicator member with a core made of thermoplastic material, spikes moulded with the core, of which at least some are multiple, the multiple spikes having at least two branches extending in divergent directions away from the core, these branches connecting to one and the same base or having bases contiguous or close to each other, and a support having two metal branches twisted around the core.

The invention relates to a method for producing a brush, particularly in the form of a mascara applicator, with bristles injection molded out of different injection molding compounds, using an injection mold that has a main cavity, which forms the bristle support, and secondary cavities branching off from this, with each secondary cavity forming a single bristle and with at least one first injection molding compound being injected into the main cavity, followed by a second injection molding compound in successive steps; at least one slider is inserted into the main cavity and closes part of the secondary cavities so that the first injection molding compound only travels into another part of the secondary cavities after which the slider is withdrawn and the second injection molding compound is injected so that it travels into the secondary cavities previously closed by the slider.
