The cleaning portion (40) has a cleaning portion main body (42) and brush portions (44). Each of the brush portions (44) has a brush main body having a shape protruding outward from the cleaning portion main body in an axially intersecting direction, and a protrusion that has a shape protruding outward in a reference plane, which is a plane encompassing a center axis of the shaft portion (20) and a center axis of the brush main body, from an outer edge of the brush main body when the brush main body is cut along the reference plane, and is continuously connected along the outer edge of the brush main body.
COMPOSITION FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING GINGIVOPERIODONTITIS OR PERI-IMPLANTITIS, AND INTERDENTAL BRUSH COATED WITH SAME
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating and preventing gingivoperiodontitis or peri-implantitis, comprising, as effective components, sodium ethylenediaminetetra acetate, cetylpyridinium chloride, octyl phenol ethoxylate, and sodium bicarbonate. The composition according to the present invention can effectively eliminate bacteria causing gingivoperiodontitis and peri-implantitis, thereby alleviating inflammation, and furthermore, an interdental brush coated with the composition is convenient to apply to gaps between teeth, dental implants, orthodontic appliances, etc. and thus can be used to treat and prevent gingivoperiodontitis and peri-implantitis conveniently at home.
SOUND, USE OF A SOUND, PERSONAL CARE IMPLEMENT EXHIBITING A SOUND, AND USE OF A CONNECTOR FOR PROVIDING A SOUND
A personal care implement comprises a head and a handle, the head being repeatedly attachable to and detachable from the handle. The personal care implement exhibits a sound when the head gets attached to or detached from the handle, thereby providing a signal of secure attachment or detachment. The sound is characterized by a tonal component of about 4000 Hz to about 6000 Hz, preferably over a time length of about 0.1 s to about 0.3 s, on a tonality frequency vs. time analysis.
Oral care implement
An oral care implement having a tuft hole with inclined walls. In one aspect, the invention can be an oral care implement comprising: a head having a front surface and a rear surface; a tuft hole in the front surface of the head, the tuft hole extending along a central axis, the tuft hole comprising a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite the first sidewall, each of the first and second sidewalls comprising an inclined section that converges toward a central plane that comprises the central axis with decreasing distance from the front surface; and a bristle tuft formed by a plurality of bristles, each of the plurality of bristles having a first portion disposed within the tuft hole and a second portion protruding from the front surface of the head, the second portions of the plurality of bristles converging toward the central plane.
Interdental cleaning instrument
An interdental cleaning instrument is equipped with a base part and a cleaning part. The base part has a shaft part and a grip part. At least the shape of the base part is set in a manner such that a first pressing force required to press a portion spaced 2.5 mm apart from a tip of the cleaning part in 10 mm is 0.3 N or more and 1.4 N or less in a state in which a portion spaced 10 mm apart from the tip of the cleaning part is fixed, and a second pressing force required to press a portion spaced 8.0 mm apart from the tip of the cleaning part in 10 mm is 0.5 N or more and 2.5 N or less in a state in which a portion spaced 35 mm apart from the tip of the cleaning part is fixed.
TOOTHBRUSH
Provided is a toothbrush including a handle, a head connected to the handle and including a first surface, a distal circumference provided at a front end of the first surface, a proximal circumference provided at a rear end of the first surface, a longitudinal axis, and a lateral axis, a plurality of first cleaning elements provided at the front end of the first surface along the distal circumference of the first surface, a plurality of second cleaning elements provided at the rear end of the first surface, and a tooth space corresponding to a space provided on the first surface between the first and second cleaning elements. According to the present invention, when a space between a tooth root surface and a gum, e.g., a periodontal pocket, is cleaned, pressing of bristles due to interference between the bristles and a tooth may be prevented and thus first cleaning elements may easily penetrate into the periodontal pocket.
INTERDENTAL CLEANING TOOL
An interdental cleaning tool (2) includes a base portion (10) having a shaft portion (20) and a grip portion (30), and a cleaning portion (40). The cleaning portion (40) has a cleaning portion main body (42) and a plurality of brush portions (44). Each of the brush portions (44) has a brush main body having a shape protruding outward from the cleaning portion main body in an axially intersecting direction, and a scraping step portion that protrudes from an outer circumferential surface of the brush main body in a direction orthogonal to the axially intersecting direction, the brush main body extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the brush main body and being formed to be flat.
INTERDENTAL CLEANER
An interdental cleaner has a gripping portion (3) and a cleaning portion (4) formed by an elongate body made from a thermoplastic material. The cleaning portion (4) has a coating made of a self-adhesive, heat-vulcanized rubber material forming peripheral, flexible brush members (6).
INTERDENTAL CLEANER
An interdental cleaner (10) has a rod-shaped support (11) made of plastic, a handle part (12) connected to the support (11), and a cleaning part (13) which has a sleeve-shaped cover (14) arranged on the support (11). The cover carries radially outwardly protruding cleaning elements (15). Provision is made that the cover consists of a plurality of cover parts, wherein a first cover part (16) consists of a first soft-elastic plastic, and wherein a second cover part (17) consists of a second soft-elastic plastic or of a thermoplastic, wherein the plastics material of the first cover part (16) is different than the plastics material of the second cover part (17). Preferably, the plastics material of the first cover part (16) has a lower Shore hardness than the plastics material of the second cover part (17).
FLOSSER PEN AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A dental device for cleaning oral interproximal spaces, a flosser cartridge for engagement in the dental device, and method of use thereof. The implement includes a housing which receives a cradle carrying a cartridge stack. The cradle and cartridge stack are rotated by manipulating a control knob at a rear end of the housing. Rotation of the cradle causes the flosser cartridge stack to be progressively moved forwardly along a helical track toward an opening in the housing's front end. The cleaning tip on a forwardmost cartridge extends outwardly through the opening and is covered by a cap prior to use. The cap is removed when the user wishes to clean their teeth. The forwardmost cartridge is snapped off the stack and disposed of after use. Rotation of the cradle moves a second cartridge in the stack into the forwardmost position where the second cartridge is then ready for use.
