DETECTION DEVICE AND DETECTION METHOD FOR AMOUNT OF REMAINING GAS OF SODA WATER MACHINE
20180357881 · 2018-12-13 ·

A detection device for an amount of remaining gas of a soda water machine includes a remaining gas amount sensor, a signal transmitter and a gas bottle sensing device. The remaining gas amount sensor detects the amount of remaining gas in a gas bottle of the soda water machine. When the amount of remaining gas in the gas bottle is lower than a predetermined value, the signal transmitter sends an alert signal to a user. The gas bottle sensing device detects whether the gas bottle is disposed on the soda water machine. The detection device and detection method using the above detection device for an amount of remaining gas of a soda water machine are capable of solving the issue that the gas bottle cannot be immediately replaced once the user discovers that the gas in a gas bottle connected to a soda water machine is insufficient.

WORK VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING LIQUID REPLENISHMENT OF WORK VEHICLE

A work vehicle includes a tank, a liquid amount detection sensor, a speaker, and circuitry. The tank is configured to store a liquid. The liquid amount detection sensor is provided in the tank and is configured to measure the amount of liquid in the tank. The speaker is configured to output a notification sound. The circuitry is configured to control the speaker to output the notification sound when the amount of liquid per unit time detected by the liquid amount detection sensor increases. The circuitry is configured to stop outputting the notification sound when the amount of liquid per unit time detected by the liquid amount detection sensor does not increase.

Device for dispensing powder, cap for such a device and workstation comprising such a device
10081461 · 2018-09-25 · ·

The invention relates to a device for dispensing powder, comprising at least one storage tank (1) provided with a cap (2) comprising a flow orifice (3) for the powder. According to the invention, the device comprises a shutter (8) provided with an aperture (9) and fitted so as to be able to move relative to the cap between a shut position preventing the powder from flowing and an open position allowing the powder to flow through the aperture of the shutter, a channel (12) passing through the shutter so as to extend on either side of the aperture of the shutter in a direction that is substantially transverse to the flow of the powder, and means for creating a relative motion between the cap and the shutter in order to move the shutter between its two positions, said means being connected to a control unit (20) that is connected to contactless means for detecting the flow of the powder, the detecting means comprising, at a first end of the channel of the shutter, at least one emitter (21) emitting a wave into the channel and, at a second end of the channel, at least one receiver (22) for detecting the emitted wave. The invention also relates to a workstation comprising such a device for dispensing powder.

Urine monitoring method and physiological monitoring system

The present disclosure relates to a urine monitoring method adapted to a urine monitoring device and a cloud server. The urine monitoring method includes the urine monitoring device detecting a real-time weight, the urine monitoring device sending the real-time weight to the cloud server through a communication interface, and the cloud server determining whether the real-time weight is less than a lower bound of a current weight or is greater than an upper bound of the current weight. If the real-time weight is either less than the lower bound of the current weight or greater than the upper bound of the current weight, the cloud server sends a signal to set the urine monitoring device as a urine volume warning status.

ENERGY TRANSFER FROM A DRUM TO A DISPLACEMENT ELEMENT
20240369035 · 2024-11-07 ·

An energy transfer apparatus can include an electromechanical gauge having a motor and a displacer connected to the electromechanical gauge by a wire, wherein energy is transferred from the motor of the electromechanical gauge to the displacer using the motor and the wire combined with mechanical drag. A spring may be located between the wire and a mass inside the displacer, wherein a lifting and a lowering of the displacer generates an oscillation of the displacer body, wherein the oscillation is usable to generate the energy. The displacer may include a moving element that can introduce the mechanical drag when the displacer is moved through liquid by the motor. The movement of the moving element can be transferred into mechanical movement or into electricity.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LADING MEASUREMENT IN A RAIL CAR
20180094961 · 2018-04-05 ·

A rail vehicle includes a truck having wheels for engaging a railroad track, a bolster supported by the truck, and a tank supported by the bolster for storing a lading. A measurement system measures the level of the lading within the tank and includes gauges and a controller. The gauges are disposed at selected points on the bolster for sensing at least one of lateral and longitudinal localized displacement experienced by the bolster during motion of the rail vehicle. The controller calculates the level of the lading within the tank and compensates for changes in the level of the lading during motion of the rail vehicle in response to signals generated by the gauges.
