TIME DOMAIN REFLECTOMETRY LIQUID LEVEL SENSING FOR LAUNCH VEHICLES
A system for determining a fluid level includes a front end and a measurement probe. The measurement probe receives a pulse from the front end and returns a partially reflected pulse and a fully reflected pulse to the front end. The partially reflected pulse is evaluated to determine a liquid level within a tank that includes the measurement probe. The measurement probe includes a conductive trace configuration to provide a time delay to prevent pulse build up.
LOW-SPEED HIGH TORQUE MOTOR CONTROL AND FOAM SYSTEM
A fire suppression system includes a motor and a foam pump. The foam pump is driven by the motor to inject one or more chemical additives from an off-board additive container into a discharge conduit. A bypass valve is in fluid communication with the output of the foam pump. One or more sensors are configured to measure at least one operating condition of the foam pump. A controller is in communication with the one or more sensors and is operatively connected to the bypass valve. The controller is configured to determine, based on data received from the one or more sensors regarding the at least one operating condition of the foam pump, whether the foam pump is experiencing a loss of prime, and to open the bypass valve in response. The motor may also selectively operate in one of two modes depending on the rotational speed and torque required.

SYSTEM FOR SENSING FLOWABLE SUBSTRATE LEVELS IN A STORAGE UNIT
A system for estimating a flowable substrate level in a storage unit is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a transmitter and a conductor that extend downwardly into a grain storage bin, which cycles through a range of frequencies in order to determine the resonant frequency of the conductor which changes depending on the amount of grain in the bin.

TAMPER-PROOF SENSOR FOR A CONTAINER
A tamper-proof sensor is adapted to be mounted on or in an opening of a container and to detect a process variable in a container. The sensor has a securing device which is designed to detect or prevent the sensor from being removed from the opening of the container.
Valve arrangement for a guided wave radar level gauge
A valve arrangement for a guided wave radar level gauge including a valve housing holding a movable valve element having a through-opening, the movable valve element being configured to be movable between an open position and a closed position. A probe section arranged in the through-opening of the movable valve element. Upper and lower probe sections are located on respective sides of the movable valve element. A spring-loaded connection assembly is configured to form an electrical connection between the upper and the lower probe section via the probe section in the movable valve element when the movable valve element is in an open position.
BEVERAGE DISPENSER WITH BEVERAGE-LEVEL INDICATOR
A beverage dispenser having a beverage-level indicating system. The beverage dispenser includes a housing and a dispensing head arranged on the housing for dispensing a beverage into a beverage container. The beverage dispenser further includes a beverage-level sensor arranged on the housing and which determines a beverage level within the beverage container without contacting the beverage within the beverage container, a beverage-level indicator that provides a visual indication of the beverage level within the beverage container, and a control unit that causes the beverage-level indicator to indicate the beverage level within the beverage container based on the beverage level as determined by the beverage-level sensor.
Filling material volume detection system comprising multiple radar sensors
A fill level measurement system for detecting a topology of a filling material surface or a volume of a filling material in a container including a master device and one or more slave devices, the master device being designed to transmit control signals to the slave device. As the slave devices do not include all the functionalities of an independent fill level measurement device, the slave devices can be produced in a cost-effective manner.
