20180213926 · 2018-08-02 ·

A foldable table and table legs comprises a tabletop comprising a plurality of tabletop sections each of which are interconnected by a hinge mechanism allowing the tabletop fold into a small, compact package. Detachable and foldable legs are configured for coupling to a table skirt comprising four segments which fold down from a storage pocket on the underside of the tabletop. The foldable legs interconnect with the table skirt once it is folded down from its storage position. The tabletop and foldable legs may all be folded into a compact, portable and packable configuration.

Collapsible table

Disclosed is a collapsible furniture article. The collapsible furniture article comprises a horizontal support surface that articulates about a main support between an extended position and a collapsed position with respect thereto. A first primary leg is connected to the main support pivotally between an extended position and a collapsed position with respect thereto. A first secondary leg is pivotally connected to the first primary leg pivotally between an extended position and a collapsed position with respect thereto. The legs in the extended position are disposed to support the horizontal support surface in a horizontal position. In collapsed position, the primary legs are positioned between the collapsed support horizontal surface and the collapsed secondary legs.

The desk also includes a foldable desktop portion rotatably connected to the fixed desktop portion. The foldable desktop portion is rotatable, in relation to the fixed desktop portion, between a folded position and an unfolded position. The foldable desktop portion in the folded position is substantially parallel to the fixed backframe and substantially perpendicular to the fixed desktop portion. The foldable desktop portion in the unfolded position is substantially coplanar with the fixed desktop portion and substantially perpendicular to the fixed backframe. The desk further includes at least one support frame rotatably connected to a bottom, vertical portion of the fixed backframe.

Pedestal apparatus

The invention discloses a pedestal apparatus for an article of furniture. The pedestal apparatus has an elongate post formation defining a first end and a second end and having a longitudinal axis. The post formation immovably supports a fixed foot arrangement and also movably supports a variable foot arrangement. The variable foot arrangement is selectively movable along and around the longitudinal axis for varying a longitudinal and angular proximity between the variable foot arrangement and the fixed foot arrangement. Biasing means are provided for controlling movement of the variable foot arrangement whereby, in use, the biasing means causes both the fixed foot arrangement and the variable foot arrangement to abut an underlying surface and thereby provide a substantial stabilization of the pedestal apparatus.

Foldable Table

A foldable table having a deployment condition and a folded condition. The table includes a tabletop consisting of three equal-sized sectors, where the first and second sectors, the second and third sectors are rotatably joined together along adjacent side edges. In one example, the tabletop has a groove along the periphery of the sectors and a leg support for each of the sectors, where each leg support includes an outer leg component having an upper arcuate portion dimensioned and shaped to be accommodated at least partially into the groove when the table is in the folded condition. In another example, each leg support includes a depressed area configured to accommodate a portion of a respective sector and engage a side edge of the sector when the table is in the folded condition.

Article of furniture having a latch mechanism

An article of furniture can include a latch mechanism. The latch mechanism can include an actuation mechanism having a housing that is moveable relative to a guide member from a first position to a second position, at least one detent mechanism comprising a first detent mechanism having a first detent member that is moveable from a first position to a second position, and an articulation mechanism positioned between the actuation mechanism and the first detent mechanism. The articulation mechanism can connect the first detent mechanism to the housing such that motion of the housing from the first position of the housing to the second position of the housing causes the first detent member to move from the first position of the first detent member to the second position of the first detent member.

Sleeping pad with dual coated bottom sheet and central layer

An inflatable sleeping pad or air mattress comprises an inflatable pad having a top layer and a bottom layer. At least one middle layer is disposed parallel to the top and bottom layers, and supported between the top layer and the bottom layer by a plurality of support baffles, wherein a first plurality of support baffles is disposed between the at least one middle layer and the top layer, and a second plurality of support baffles disposed between the at least middle one layer and the bottom layer. The sleeping pad further comprises an air inlet/outlet valve disposed on at least one of the inflatable pad top or bottom layers.

Furnishing element having a folding support shelf and/or a folding support structure
09538839 · 2017-01-10 · ·

A furnishing element, such as a table, a stool, or a desk includes a support structure having at least one support leg defining a vertical axis, a support shelf, supported by and connected to the support structure by a connector. In a use configuration, the support shelf is parallel to a horizontal plane. The connector includes a first joint and a second joint independent of each other. The first joint identifies a first hinge axis parallel to the horizontal plane to permit rotation and folding of the support shelf towards the support structure, to position the support shelf perpendicular to the horizontal plane in a folded configuration. The second joint identifies a second hinge axis which permits rotation of the support leg towards the support shelf, to position the support leg parallel to the horizontal plane in a folded configuration.
