Apparatus for Metering a Substance
An apparatus for metering a substance into a target container includes a gripping tool, with which a metering tool can be picked up and released, and a scales. The metering tool is configured as an adhesive body which is wetted by a substance so that a small amount of substance measurable by the scales remains adhering to the metering tool. Once the desired amount of substance has been picked up with the metering tool, the latter, including the substance adhering thereto, is released into the target container. A controller controls the scales and the gripping tool and decides whether the amount of substance picked up by the metering tool is usable or whether more substance should be picked up or whether the metering tool should be discarded and somewhat less substance picked up with a fresh metering tool.
WEIGHING APPARATUS
A weighing apparatus (1) according to an embodiment includes: adjacent hoppers (12A, 12B); and a sorting mechanism (20) disposed between the adjacent hoppers (12A, 12B), the sorting mechanism (20) sorting an article given from outside into one of the adjacent hoppers (12A, 12B), in which the sorting mechanism (20) includes a rotator (21) rotatable around a rotation shaft (21R), the rotation shaft (21R) and a central axis (21C) of the rotator (21) are not parallel, the rotator (21) rotates when the article abuts on the rotator (21), and the rotator (21) does not rotate when the article does not abut on the rotator (21).
METHOD FOR DOSING ONE OR MORE TREATMENT SUBSTANCES IN A SYSTEM FOR WASHING AND RECYCLING PLASTICS
A method and apparatus for dosing treatment substances into a system for washing and recycling synthetic plastics is provided. The method includes providing a freely supported container operationally connected to a programmable weighing and control unit. The container is overturned by gravity between a treatment substance loading and unloading position. The method further includes storing a reference value of a weight suitable for overturning the container to the unloading position, supplying a treatment substance to the container, detecting the weight thereof, stopping the supply upon reaching a preset weight value, and supplying a washing substance to the container until the reference value is reached. Upon reaching the reference value, gravity overturns the container to the unloading position and sends the treatment substances to synthetics plastic washing modules.
BAD WATER DISCHARGE FOR WEIGHING SYSTEMS
A bad water discharge system for a weighing system, wherein the weighing system comprises a distribution plate, at least one feeding device; at least one reserve container, at least one weighing container and at least one collection funnel, wherein the at least one reserve container and the at least one weighing container are fixed to a cage and the at least one collection funnel is fixed to a frame. For the bad water discharge system, at least one feeding device discharge plate is disposed at a lower side of the feeding device so that it leads bad water away from at least one reserve container to a sidewall of the cage, and so that the bad water originating from an upper side of the cage and from the lower side of the feeding device is bundled into one flow and is collected below the cage in suitable collection devices.
DEVICE FOR THE INDIVIDUALIZED MONITORING OF THE FEED CONVERSION RATIO OF POULTRY AND INSTALLATION COMPRISING SAID DEVICE
The invention relates to a device (100) for the individualized monitoring of the feed conversion ratio of poultry comprising: a weighing station (30) comprising side walls and a front wall defining an available internal volume able to contain a bird, a bird identification means (40), able to identify one bird positioned in the available internal volume of the weighing station (30) and to provide identification information of the bird, a bird weighing means (10), able to measure the weight of one bird positioned in the available internal volume of the weighing station (30) and to provide weight information of the bird, a feeder (50) containing poultry feed, coupled to a feed weighing means (20) able to measure the weight of the feed contained in the feeder (50) and to provide weight information of the feed, wherein said feeder (50) comprises a dispensing area (51), wherein said dispensing area (51) is accessible only to one bird positioned in the available internal volume of the weighing station (30), and a data processing module ( ) coupled to the bird weighing means (10) and to the feed weighing means (20) able to generate a feed conversion ratio from the weight information provided by the weighing means (10) and by the feed weighing means (20), for the bird identified from the identification information provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING GRAIN CART WEIGHT
A system of detecting loading and unloading of mobile containers such as grain carts utilizes two low pass filters to determine whether the contents of the container are changing by subtracting one filter signal from the other, and using the sign of the difference. Weighing performance is improved by utilizing accelerometers to compensate for measurement dynamics and non-level orientation. Failure and degradation of weight sensors is detected by testing sensor half bridges. Loading and unloading weights can be tied to specific vehicles by utilizing RF beacons.
Cigarette Rolling Machine
A cigarette rolling machine includes paper pick and place subassembly wherein bulk paper strip is provided by a roll resting upon spool hooks. The frame plates are held spaced apart by a plurality of struts. A paper drive motor drives a roller which may preferably be made of polyurethane or another material that paper may adhere to effectively. A fluid reservoir contains adhesive fluid which is delivered into a wick held in a wick retainer A pick arm mounted on vertical displacement struts raises and lowers a hollow pick manifold connected to a vacuum line so that it may pick up a cigarette paper and retain it on its underside surface for placement onto a section cigarette forming belt. A transfer pad swings from a pair of swing arms which each have a stud slidable within a serpentine groove of a guide plate affixed to the pick manifold.
System and method for measuring grain cart weight
