SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING AND PROCESSING GLASS
20200118087 · 2020-04-16 ·

Disclosed is a method of virtualizing access queues to machines for glass collection distributed throughout a territory. The distinction of management of requests for unloading full containers is based on the configuration of: the machine; the central server, remotely controlling queue management; the plant using glass coming from the collection to process it; and a fleet of trucks executing collection, following a path suggested by the data bank residing on the central server. In the method, the control center monitors availability of crushed glass at the machines, and demands for glass of a particular type by each production plant. If an emptying request arrives from a machine where one or more glass containment cells is filled, the control center reprocesses the updated paths for the fleet of trucks or transport vehicles and for unloading from the machine to the truck based on the contingent requests from each production plant.

Agricultural transport vehicle, in particular mixer-wagon, having at least one hold for agricultural bulk goods and at least one weighing device, in particular a load cell and/or a weighing bar, for detecting the weight of load in the hold; having at least one inertial measuring unit for measuring an acceleration and/or orientation of the agricultural transport vehicle, in particular the hold; and having at least one computing unit which is designed to compensate a raw signal of the weighing device with respect to the measured acceleration and/or orientation.

MATERIAL LOADING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system for managing material loading is disclosed herein. The system comprising a sensor arranged on or proximate a material loading machine that is configured to measure a weight of the material loading machine. A transmitting device communicatively coupled to the sensor that is configured to receive and transmit the measured weight to an electronic data processor. An electronic data processor coupled to each of the sensor and the transmitting device. The electronic data processor is configured to compute a material weight based on the measured weight of the material loading machine and generate an alert for display on a user interface when the material weight exceeds a predetermined threshold.

TOWING SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING MAGNETIC FIELD SENSING

A magneto-elastically-based active force sensor, used with a tow coupling between a towed and a towing vehicle or a coupling between a vehicle body and a suspension of the vehicle, which outputs a signal useful for determining forces acting on the coupling. The outputted force information may be provided by processor-enabled embedded software algorithms that take inputs from the force sensor and other sensors, may be used by one or more vehicle systems during operating of the vehicle, such as engine, braking, stability, safety, and informational systems. The force sensor includes directionally-sensitive magnetic field sensing elements inside the sensor, and shielding may be used around the sensors to reduce the influence of external magnetic fields on the sensing elements. The force sensor may be used with different tow and vehicle weight sensing coupling devices installed on different types of automobile cars and trucks.

LOAD CELL ASSEMBLY

A cast load cell comprising a load sensing portion integrally cast with a first mounting portion. The load sensing portion has a flexure portion spaced apart from the first mounting portion by a flexure gap. The load sensing portion has at least one sensor cavity above at least a portion of the flexure gap. A second mounting portion is integrally cast with the load sensing portion above the flexure gap. A load sensor is connected to the load sensor portion and positioned within the sensor cavity above a portion of the flexure gap. The first mounting portion, the load sensing portion, and the second mounting portion define an integral, low-profile, weld-free, substantially homogenous unitary cast member.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WASTE MONITORING AND ANALYSIS

Provided herein are devices, systems, and methods for measuring waste material weight within two or more waste collection bins The bins can be measured using one or more waste measurement devices, and the measurements can be collected and transmitted to networked data storage. Waste measurement data can be collected over time from multiple bin locations, and the stored data can be analyzed and processed to generate reports and ratings of waste collection, disposal, and diversion trends over time. Also provided are waste audit methods and platforms that simplify and streamline data measurement, recording, and analyzing. The audit methods can transfer data electronically to a computer or cloud platform, automatically plot and compare results, and generate reports to be shared with a user or client.

GUIDE WHEEL OVERLOAD INDICATORS

A novel system for providing for safe operation of railgear, that is, a set of guide wheels that allow road vehicles to travel on railroad tracks, based on the use of overload indicators installed on the suspension arm of each guide wheel to give operators a quick, visual representation of whether or not a guide wheel is overloaded.

Automatic steering control reference adaption to resolve understeering of autonomous driving vehicles

In one embodiment, a request is received to turn the autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) from a first direction to a second direction. In response to the request, a number of segment masses of a number of segments of the ADV are determined. The segment masses are located on a plurality of predetermined locations within a vehicle platform of the ADV. A location of a mass center for an entire ADV is calculated based on the segment masses of the segments of the ADV, where the mass center represents a center of an entire mass of the entire ADV. A steering control command based on the location of the mass center of the entire ADV for steering control of the ADV.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY MONITORING RECYCLABLE MATERIALS

A system includes one or more processors located remote from a plurality of containers configured to store recyclable material. The one or more processors are configured to receive image data generated by an imaging device positioned to have a field of view of an interior of a first container of the containers. The image data depicts the recyclable material within the first container. The one or more processors receive one or more weight measurements of the first container with the recyclable material therein and determine one or more characteristics of the recyclable material within the first container based on at least one of the image data or the one or more weight measurements. The one or more processors schedule a pickup date for the first container based on the one or more characteristics of the recyclable material that are determined.
