LOAD SENSOR BUCKET AND RELATED METHOD
20200300691 · 2020-09-24 ·

A load sensor bucket for equipment is operable in a loading mode and a metering mode. In the loading mode, the bucket is disposed to load material. In the metering mode, the bucket is tilted upward with the load sensors oriented to form a vertical metering column that is substantially perpendicular to a ground surface. In the metering mode, the bucket orients a center of mass of the material within the vertical metering column so that the load sensors can measure the bucket load. The measurement can be conveyed to an operator of the machine, who can then determine real time whether the bucket is loaded to a target amount of material. A related method can include detecting a load parameter, such as stress/strain, via the load sensors and displaying output in a cab.

Work Machine

A controller 21 mounted on a work machine calculates a target carried load representing a target value for a carried load carried by the work machine on the basis of loadage of a transportation machine in case the loadage is changed, calculates a minimum integration load value depending on the magnitude of the calculated target carried load, and calculates the loadage by integrating the carried load in case it is determined that a work implement has performed a loading operation on the transportation machine and in case the calculated carried load is equal to or larger than the minimum integration load value.

A telescoping weigh fork unit where a base fork has an integrated hydraulic cylinder and a slideable outer shoe on which are supported at least two load cells. Optionally the unit may include an outside telescopic fork shoe to which the load cells are mounted and which supports the outer shoe. Unit may further include a system to alert if distance or weight thresholds are exceeded or if a load cell is inoperable.

Work machine and method for controlling work machine

A hydraulic excavator has a boom, an arm, a bucket, and a boom cylinder which drives the boom. A load value within the bucket is computed based on a load of the boom cylinder, and the load value obtained by computing is corrected based on an acceleration of extension/retraction of the boom cylinder.

Method for transporting goods on a pallet reversibly convertible to a bin
10730662 · 2020-08-04 · ·

A method for transporting goods on a pallet, where the pallet may be reversibly converted to a bin for the collection of waste and/or recyclable material. The pallet may include a base with side walls and a collapsible sleeve wherein, if the collapsible sleeve is open and joined to the base, the collapsible sleeve, with the base, forms a bin. Goods are transported on the pallet. After unloading the pallets and removing the goods, the pallet may be converted to a bin. Waste or recyclable material may be placed in the bin and transported away. After removing the material in the bin and cleaning the bin, the bin may be collapsed back into a pallet for the transportation of goods.

WORK VEHICLE, SYSTEM INCLUDING WORK VEHICLE, AND LOAD WEIGHT CALCULATION METHOD FOR WORK VEHICLE

A first processor determines a loaded state of a bucket, makes a determination that a traveling apparatus has performed an operation for shifting from a rearward movement state to a state (forward movement or stop) other than the rearward movement state in the loaded state, and calculates a load weight of the bucket from a detection value of a work implement sensor (first hydraulic pressure detectors and a first angle detector) based on the determination.

A controller includes a storage device that stores a load overflow reference value defined by a mutual relation between a load value of a work target object, a posture of a work implement, and a movement state of the work implement. The controller calculates the posture of the work implement, and calculates a physical quantity (for example, a swing speed) indicating the movement state of the work implement. The controller estimates whether or not the work implement has caused a load overflow during the transportation of the work target object on the basis of the reference value stored in the storage device, the calculated load value of the work target object, the calculated posture of the work implement, and the calculated physical quantity indicating the movement state of the work implement. When the controller determines that the load overflow has occurred, the controller makes a notification to that effect on a monitor.

System and method for determining the mass of a payload moved by a working device

The present invention relates to a system for determining the mass of a payload moved by a working device of a machine, comprising: a lifting-gear element that is movable along a path and is designed to move the working device; a sensor system that is designed to provide a plurality of machine-status signals which indicate a status of the machine; a force sensor system that is designed to provide a lifting-force signal that indicates a force on the lifting-gear element; and a control device that is designed: to use system parameters for load determination that originate from pre-configured CAD data, preferably CAD data that has been pre-configured at the factory, and/or from continuous calibration of system parameters; to carry out calibration using the pre-configured parameters as initialisation if unsatisfactory results are achieved; to carry out the calibration in an unloaded state, i.e. when the working device is empty, with automatically predefined stimulation trajectories being used for the machine or instructions being provided to the operator for stimulating the parameters; to log the system statuses using the sensor and to carry out a system identification of this information; and to determine a mass of the payload on the basis of identified and/or pre-configured system parameters and system statuses, preferably on the basis of a position, a speed, an acceleration of the lifting-gear element and/or a force or torque on the lifting-gear element.

A device for moving a load comprises a mobile, in particular rolling chassis (10) from which a lifting device (20) extends with at least one lifting member (30). The lifting device is intended and configured to receive the load (5) thereon. The lifting member comprises a substantially L-shaped base (31) with a lying leg (311) and an upright leg (312) mutually connected by a bend (313). The shoe (33) is likewise substantially L-shaped with a lying leg (331) and an upright leg (332), wherein the upright leg (332) of the shoe (33) maintains an intermediate space in relation to the upright leg (312) of the base (31). A base unit (40) of the weighing means is received at least substantially wholly in the intermediate space between the two legs (31,33).

Drive control method of drive stage device

In a control method of a drive stage device, a stage is floated on an air bearing, then a height of the stage while floating on the air bearing is measured as a first height. A work piece is placed on the stage and a height of the stage while holding the work piece is measured as a second height. A difference between the first height and the second height is calculated as a drop amount, and a weight of the work piece is calculated based on the drop amount. An upper limit speed of one of rotational drive and horizontal movement of the stage is determined based on the calculated work piece weight. A speed of the one of the rotational drive and the horizontal movement of the stage is controlled so as to not exceed the upper limit speed.
